Love that you can reserve your seats and like that it is not always so crowded.

Literally the best deal in town - $30 Wednesday...2 movie tickets, 2 drinks, a popcorn and candy. Plus you can reserve your seats ahead of time. So much better than Cineplex, and much less busy so it’s not a nightmare to see a movie and relax. I just want to see the latest movie without having to take out a second mortgage (Cineplex would be $28 just for tickets). So they don’t have DBox, or lots of food options. We go to Hudson’s for wings before the movie. It’s wing night.

I love this theatre. Close to my house. I love the atom app it’s so great but my only complaint is that the app doesn’t take landmark gift cards or direct debit. Just credit card and PayPal. What’s the point of the convenience of the app if you have to go IN for things like a gift card?

I love the night out deal and kids day. Reserved seats with no added cost are a great feature.

I have not been to a movie in years and I was pleasantly surprised. We went to the movie at 1:00 so the theatre was quiet, it was clean and everyone was very helpful. I bought tickets online and I was able to chose our seats. That was very cool. The seats themselves were very comfortable as well. I had no problems seeing the screen and we had people in front of us. And of course the movie was great.

The concession line up was really fast even though there were a lot of people in line. It took a long time to scan people's tickets, something landmark could try and correct.



I love reserved seats. It's great not to waste an hour just to get a good seat. Showed up 10 minutes before the show and had ample time to get settled before the previews started.



Not a fan of the new seats. I think they're made for short people.

The concession line up was out the door when we arrived. We were able to get through it quickly though. There was an additional line to get our ticket stubs checked before we could get into the theatre. It would have been smoother had they had 2 people running that line and it would have been much less congested. I love this theatre nonetheless because we can pick our seats and it is clean.

Really love this movie theatre. I'm from Regina but moved to Calgary to be with my fiance, so when my fiance gets free movie tickets, it's to Landmark. This movie theatre is closer to our place which is really nice. Concession stands are really well. Very good choice in food selections and getting to pick any candy is great. Love the reclining seats except for the fact when you have knee problems (like myself) and the person infront of you reclines there seat all the way back, there's no foot space for yourself. Overall, love this theatre. I come here almost once a week.

Landmark Shawnessy is a great theatre. My only complaint was that this time I found my popcorn tasted a bit over cooked or something, like almost on the verge of burning, and it was a bit too salty. I wish theatres were more aware of the amount of salt that's added and that some customers prefer less to no salt. Me just being one of them. Other than that I like this theatre.

I have only had really good experiences at this theatre! We went to the late show and saw Jumangi, there was barely anyone there so getting popcorn etc was a breeze! Anytime there has been a line for the concession stand it doesn’t take long to get thru it! Overall really happy with this theatre!

I enjoyed the comfortable seat and good popcorn. Sound was too loud. I enjoyed the movie and great service

Better then Chinook and less busy. Popcorn is great. Sometimes a little burnt though. Seats are comfy and staff is friendly.

With the concession lined up to the doors, wouldn't it be a good time to open up the one in the upper level? We arrived an hour early and still didn't have enough time to get popcorn and a drink...guess we saved ourselves $30, but the experience is lacking without those items...

Reserved seating is an excellent idea. Showing up 10 mins show time is brilliant. However this only works if you don’t want any popcorn or snacks. All that saved time is drained in good line ups.

Not sure what they have done to change their popcorn over the last couple years, but it seems to upset everyone’s stomach I know young and old alike.

Line ups for the concession stand were ridiculous. Finally got our popcorn Half way thru the movie.

Maybe too many movie times are close together not considering the demand for the concessions.

Atmosphere is somewhat depressing no more arcade games and the paint job just plain sucks to be blunt.

This place is mostly run by teenagers and a few 20 year olds.

Line ups are sometimes way too long no windows open just to buy tickets anymore have to wait in line with concession or use the machines by the entrance.

I like the Popcorn and Pop refills when you buy a large only advantage over Scotiabank theatre chinook and its close by.

Saw Ready Player One on Sunday and this movie is Awesome!�

I've only been to this theatre a few times but every time the concession line is ridiculous, you can never get there early enough to get popcorn. Also we went to see The Last Jedi last night for opening night and the movie was playing super quiet, you could even hear small sighs from people, plus there was a super annoying echo throughout the whole movie. And don't even get me started on parking at this theatre. Definitely my least favourite movie theatre in Calgary.

I gave a 2 because the seats in theatre 10 are indeed comfy and the sound quality is better. That said, the fact that the seats recline in the row behind is a problem. I had absolutely no room to move my feet whatsoever. Meanwhile the person behind me had no problems moving their feet. They simply kicked the back of my seat over and over.

Also, I would like to state that the whole reserved seating doesn't work for me. It basically gives the habitually late people license to show up when they feel like it and disrupt the experience for those who show up on time. When the movie I was at started that fully booked theatre was only half full. I will only go to first come first serve theatres from here on out!

I did not find the consession line a long wait and the girl who served us was very helpful and fast.
