Love the recliner seats! Best way to watch a movie. They need more selection of hot food at the concession and more people serving though. It took too long to get through the lineup.

Recliner seats. Need I say more? Large screens, recently renovated with recliner seats. Only theater my wife will go to now, despite several being closer. Popcorn is just OK and not fond of the pop dispensing machines, but what can you do? Digital projectors so nice, crisp movies and sound is good to my 50+ year-old ears.

I really like the changes that Landmark has done with their seating. This theater has gone through so many changes and owners over the last little while that it’s sometimes hard to keep track. I wish the lobby area was a bit more interesting. However the theater itself is very nice.

Normally the customer service is great. But on peak days expect extremely long and frustrating lines. Also, a lot of the old fun charm is gone now and instead it kinda has a hospital feel. That said, the recliner seats are awesome, and IMAX looks fantastic.

This is the preferred place for my family and I to watch big screen movies. My kids absolutely love it! The reserved, reclined plush seating makes a movie here worth every dollar. The food is as expensive as you'd expect from movie theatre, but the place is always clean and the staff always professional. Highly recommended.

I love the reclining seats in the theaters (non IMAX). Super comfy and make a film even more enjoyable. I appreciate the fact that you can reserve ahead of time, so I can come in late and not have to worry about seating. Long lines during premiers so I would buy tickets ahead of time.

First theater I have ever been to with reclining seats! The theaters have great sound quality as well as picture quality, and I'm not even talking about the IMAX theater. They also have those Coke Freestyle machines which is always a lot of fun

I love that this theatre uses ATOM so you can prereserve tickets and seats and grab your food super fast. It allows you to not waste time in line ups or coming early for a good seat. Also, the recliner seats are amazing.

Lean back. These are the most comfortable seats in any theatre I've been to. They also still sell PB m&ms unlike the distinguished competition. The only negative is the massive lineups for food. It goes fast but when you walk in its a major turn off.

This is by far the best theatre in the city. It's been recently renovated, so everything is new and relatively clean (by movie theatre standards).

The best part is that there are far fewer seats in each theatre now, because each seat has been made double-wide, and all of the seats are power-reclining. All theatres have reserved seating, which means the days of waiting in line for a busy movie are behind you, and concessions can be ordered in advance using the Atom app, and will be ready when you get there.

I stopped going to movies for a while because they were such a pain, but now we go several times a month because it's such an awesome experience!

Excellent seating positions for a great view of the screen. Dark room and good sound. Good staff. Ticket buying is a snap. Fellow movie-viewers are excellent also. Edited my review because they have recently remodeled and now the seats are massive.

Only negative is the price for food that's insanely high but this is expected.

This place is incredible! The best theatre in Calgary. Awesome comfy recliners in EVERY theatre. The good (and possibly bad) thing about this theatre is you can reserve your seat days in advance. We didn't know that so we ended up in the second row, but the angle wasn't that bad. We still enjoyed our movie and loved the seats. The touch screen fountain machines are neat and they allow for an amazing selection of drinks. It's quite a way up North, but worth the drive. Hopefully they make these same upgrades to the Landmark theatre in the Shawnessy location.

Even when this place is packed the concession line usually moves really fast. I love the recliner seats, I used to dislike seeing movies in the theater because of cramped seating and having my chair kicked by people behind me or hearing people talk but I don't have those distractions anymore. My only complaint is on my last visit the theater was filthy. It was 10pm at night and there was trash everywhere. All the cans were overflowing and there was popcorn bags and cups piled up on the floor everywhere. I expect some popcorn on the floors (I get it, that stuff gets everywhere) but there was so much garbage all over the place!

Leather recliners, reserved seating, and discounted Tuesday tickets... what more could you ask for from a movie theatre!? The facility is always clean and the hired staff are always from diverse backgrounds. Movie theatre food is always expensive, but its good to enjoy yourself once in a while! Anyone who wants to watch a movie comfortably, definitely go to Landmark Cinemas. Just remember, don't recline the seat too far or you might end up falling asleep and missing the movie entirely.
