Lasik Md

Avoid avoid LASIK MD!! I had my surgery with them a little over 5 years ago and had a pretty good experience day of. Surgery wasn't bad and my vision did improve for about a year or so. However, now I have permanent eye problems. I see little dots everywhere and have had terrible regression. When I spoke to the doctor about it they said it was nothing. I was told not to visit any other optometrist to check my eyes.

I went to all my follow ups for 2 years. Of course they never call you to remind you of them because they want you to lose the 5 year coverage. On my last appointment they finally told me that yes my eyes were regressing but no I couldn't have an enhancement surgery covered because I only had a short time to book it and after that I could have the discounted rate of $500/eye. I didn't sign up for the insurance to get a discounted rate. I signed up to get it for free! I sent a few emails to Ken the manager but that again was very useless he is not responsive at all! I feel like I have been tricked by LASIK MD after they got my money the customer service flew out the window. I have never felt so manipulated by a business before. I hope their tricks catch up with them in a large lawsuit and they go out of business.

In late August 2017 I had gone for consultation for laser eye surgery.
I was told that I was a good candidate and if agreed to proceed with my surgery. We booked the surgery for 6th October 2017 and I had requested a week off from work that was approved.
On the day of my surgery I went to the clinic and the tech told me to have a test before they proceed with my surgery. To my surprise I was then told that I am not a candidate for this surgery. If this was the case why in the first place when they had carried out the test I was given a green light to proceed with the surgery? If there was a problem why was it not detected in the first place. Not only did they waste my time but also I am now at home for no reason for which I do not get paid.

The best money I've ever spent. 5 years later, perfectly healthy eyes and 20/20

Great experience on the consultation. I was lucky enough to qualify for the $490 per eye pricing. Everyone was very friendly, my appointment was on time and I spent very little time in the massive waiting area.

Price is of course expensive but the service is great. The surgeon was very friendly and the nurse who does the post procedure care is friendly too. Nice and big waiting area for your ride to spend half a day there and complementary coffee and tea and cookie. I don't know with brand but cookie is very good. They will sometimes offer so fresh fruit like apples. But overall the staff there is very friendly. Only reason why 4 star would be that parking is such a pain, I am often late for my appointment searching for parking. and the other time I was ticketed by city because my appointment took longer than I thought.

I had the lasers 2 months ago...all I can say is "it is the easiest thing to do, and now that I have done it, I wish I had done it sooner"
For me, there was no pain, no downtime after the first day, just the simplest easiest thing.
I couldn't even wear contacts before, because I couldn't put my finger in my eye, and I had heard horror stories of how it was 20 years ago. Consequently, I never considered surgery, until a friend filled me in on how easy his had been. I was shocked! I went in the following week and had it done. I am thrilled.
Do not be afraid, it is so ridiculously easy why would you deny yourself?

I had my original surgery in 2010 in Saskatoon and have recently had the enhancement surgery in Calgary. I am happy I paid for the lifetime coverage as it is well worth it in the long run. The staff at both facilities have been nothing but awesome. Very careful and considerate. I absolutely recommend Lasik MD for the gift of sight.

I had a wonderful experience at Lasik MD. Every person I encountered from my initial consult, my surgery and follow up appointments were extremely professional, knowledgable and compassionate. I felt slightly nervous about the procedure, however the atmosphere throughout the clinic is calm and the staff makes you feel very comfortable. Dr Léger is a lovely man, and lives up to all his positive reviews. While preformed my surgery he made me feel completely relaxed. The surgery is very fast and completely painless. As cliche as it is to say - I wish I would have done it years ago!! Christine was there pre and post surgery to take care of all the patients and she did an outstanding job. She kept us all laughing and relaxed.
It is a very well run clinic and although it can get quite busy, Dr Léger and all his staff have the ability of making you feel like you are the only patient in the clinic. Thanks you so much for giving me clear vision. Would highly recommend!

I was extremely impressed with everyone working in the clinic. All staff were very friendly and knowledgable and welcomed my questions of my procedure, before and after. The outcome of my surgery is well above my expectations and the amount of pain and discomfort after the treatment was virtually zero. I felt very comfortable going into the procedure and the staff and DR's assured me frequently. I am more than happy with my choice of going forward with this surgery. I wish however that my company benefits covered more of the associated costs, as it is a very costly enhancement. It still was well worth paying for, for the many years of my new life without glasses or fussing with contacts. I have already spread my happiness in making this choice, and have a friend who has now already gone for the assessment, and is having his surgery this Friday. Lasik MD changed my life!

It was such an amazing and fun experience that it was absolutely worth it. You go through a 2 hour consultation (and if you need to reschedule they're absolutely flexible, not to mention they have times throughout the day and evening for those with different schedules) and you go through a number of people. However it is completely worth it as each person specializes in a different process throughout Lasik, which means no stone goes unturned.

Josh Welch-Adams was my consultant and he was so welcoming, professional, and was so keen to answer all my questions and worries. Being that going through surgery is not easy for a lot of us, after talking with Josh he made the process seem painless and took all my worries off my shoulders. He also was working in the interest of me and my needs, and worked with me to get the best quality for the best price. He was open and honest and that truly made all the difference.

Booking a surgery date was painless, and rescheduling it due to conflicts was also painless. Surgery day was also painless and the whole Lasik team made the entire process less nerve-wrecking and such a positive experience. There seemed to have been no person that was unhappy to be working there.

Kristine (Nurse) takes care of you once you're about to be prepped for surgery. She lit up the room with her personality and for those who were extremely nervous, she took went above and beyond and took that extra care. She most certainly had a group of strangers laughing and smiling which made this process just that much better and such a positive experience.

Dr. Boudreaut was my surgeon and was PHENOMENAL the entire 5 minutes I was there (I got both eyes done - it's really pain free just a bit of a different experience). He was extremely inviting and you can tell he's the GOD of laser eye surgery. He's laughing, smiling, and 100% knows what he's doing.

I now have 20/20 vision after years of being nearsighted with a slight astigmatism. Price was fair, and financing was also available at a fair rate. Throughout my experience at LASIK MD I felt like I was taken care of from the waiting room, to testing, all the way to surgery and the follow up appointments after.. Each and every person was fantastic and was well-rehearsed in their job skill.
