Very happy with my experience at Lasik MD from start to finish. The technicians explained everything to me and were very thorough during my free consult and again on the day of my surgery. The process was very quick and effecient but I never felt rushed. I was in the OR less than 5 minutes and the procedure itself was painless. The only discomfort I had was post op sensation of dry eyes. Being able to wake up and not have to put on glasses right away to see was the best feeling! Very well worth it, they offer financing if required and in my opinion it's a small price to pay for the freedom from glasses it will give you. Would definitely recommend Lasik MD to anyone thinking of getting laser eye surgery!

Traveled from Fort McMurray to have the Lasik procedure done in the Edmonton Clinic, and the staff were all great! I was super anxious, and they helped answer all my questions during each part of the process leading up to the procedure. The staff made my experience a great one!

Just had my surgery yesterday! The procedure was a little scary but I knew I was in good hands. Nothing like the smell of burning eyeballs tho! My eyes burned badly for 2 hours after but I just had my follow up appt and have 20/20 already!! Best decision ever made and money worth spending!! I will highly recommend to all my family and friends!! The staff and doctors were very nice and made everything smooth!

I'll be 3 weeks post-op tomorrow and am very happy with the whole process. I initially had to do 2 consultations because of some dry eye issues and they wanted to make sure my images were perfect. The day of surgery I was there about 4.5 hours total, though the surgery itself was only about 15 minutes. It was a little scary, but my doc was very reassuring. Healing kind of sucked the first few days, but every day is better and I am much less reliant on my lubricating drops now. I would do it again on a heartbeat!

I recommend Lasik to anyone who is needing corrective eye surgery. One of the best things I have ever done. Staff were amazing, doctor who did my surgery was fantastic, as was the nurses in the room assisting.

I highly recommend it Lasic M.D. city centre help me and to be able to not have to wear glasses. Great service and good staff. Everything went well and was so fast! The staff that assessed my vision and they really took into consideration what I do for a profession. Great experience!! Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. When the Surgeon looked at my file before surgery he decided to upgrade me from LASIK to the wayfront for free as he thought I would have better results with the wayfair procedure . If that’s doesn’t show care I don’t know what is. There’s a few reviews saying all they want is ur money and I couldn’t not disagree more. They were very upfront with what I had to do to keep my life time warranty current. I would recommend them a 100 times over! Super impressed from start to finish!!

Absolutely amazing people who took great care of me every step of the way. I can definitely say I went in there terrified of the procedure but I knew I had nothing to worry about. Everyone took great care of me, and made me feel better. The nurses held my hands while on the table cause I was scared, and the surgeon calmly told me everything he was going to do. No regrets. Next day and I’m already seeing 20/20. I’m so glad I no longer need glasses.

Very good customer service! Wonderful experience. They work hard to inform you and make you feel calm and at ease.

I had surgery in 2006 in Calgary. Everything went really well, absolutely best money I ever spent. After 10 years I've started having issues. We know live closer to Edmonton so decided to go there for enhancements. Had the enhancement surgery yesterday. Everything went really well. I paid for the enhancements in the original cost. No issues about costs this time, no charges except $50 for drops. Hopefully surgery will correct my issues. Very pleased other than the long wait. Appointment was at 12;15 and we left at 6:00. I was told 4/5 hours. Just be prepared for a long day. Really the wait was fine I'd rather no one rush through a procedure as important as this.

Gave LasikMD a second try after some miscommunication during the first visit. I am glad that I went in as the whole experience was much smoother this time around. I would recommend this to everyone!

I had surgery in sept and was suppose to get a $200 off as a family referral as per my quote. Day of surgery they said they could honour their own quote as the person referring me had their surgery more then 6 months ago. (Something they should of told me during the quote and shouldn't of put it on the quote in the first place). Said they were going to make it right with me when I complained. Took over a week to get back to me and Now saying there is nothing they can do. Not impressed.

They treat you like just a pay check. Once they have your money, they don't care about you. The after treatment is atrocious. They keep bouncing you around between their whole staff. We are talking to a lawyer about a lawsuit, so I suggest you beware because if you have any complications, good luck!

I received the surgery years back and now need a revision. They are now saying that I have to pay when it was guaranteed for life, not only that I have to fly to Edmonton just to find out what I will have to pay as they can't even tell me the cost ahead of time. They misplaced my file and took a week to track it down. I kept being forwarded to other people and numbers with no answers. Super frustrating after such an investment as I will now have to pay in full again to go to another clinic.

Had to get my right eye redone. Before the enhancement I literally had to go in for 7 pre appointments for measurements etc. Been a year since enhancement and my eye is worse off than before. Why???
