Latifa'S Herbs

Latifa is a medical herbalist and botanist who is passionate about sharing her love and enthusiasm for the healing power of plants.

Latifa is Medical Herbalist trained with a Master's of Science in Herbal Medicine from Middlesex University in London, UK. She is also a trained botanist with a Bachelor of Science in Botany from the University of Calgary, and specializes in using wild, local plants as medicines. She is a former faculty member at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, where she taught Botany and Horticulture and Wild Plant Nutrition. She is co-owner of ALCLA Native Plants, a native plant nursery in Calgary, AB.

She runs retreats, plants walks, and workshops to engage the community about using and respecting wild plants both locally and abroad. She also runs a home-based sliding-scale herbal medicine clinic. She provides hand-made herbal remedies through consultation or by commission. Please reach out for more details.
