Wonderful food. Fantastic service and the atmosphere is perfect. Luv this place!

We went there with out reservations ,so had a short wait but was definitely worth it. The pizza was to die for !!! The staff were pleasant and energetic, even with the place buzzing.

I think our family had a new favorite restaurant.

My wife and I were married in La Dolce Vita 9 years ago, sadly Chef Francesco seems to have hung up his apron, however we starting going to LDV pizza bar, as the room we got married in is still there (yay)



That said, we have gone back every year, like clockwork. Last year we had a bit of an issue with food, but this time around it was So Good. As a descendant of italians, I can tell you that LDV tomato sauce is seriously good eats. We normally order the same 2 apps (parm fries and Fried Mozzarella ) then we debate what pizza. This time around we went with the San Francesco and what a great choice. I was originally concerned because gorgonzola can be like a one note tidal wave, smashing all other flavors in its wake, however I am amazed at how balanced and delicious it was. Fantastico! I would strongly recommend LDV to anyone. Great service and great food. Very attentive. See you guys next year!

LDV is our favorite restaurant of all time. We can hang out there. We are never rushed. Everyone who works there is super nice. They make the best pizza in town! The fireplace is cozy and during the day, the indoor patio is always beaming with sun. Thanks LDV for being such good neighbours!

LDV is amazing. The food is always perfect and the service is incredible. It's my wife's and mine favourite pizza place. Thanks for being a staple in the neighbourhood!

Just popped in here for a snack and a beer while I wait for my haircut across the street. I ordered the Italian fries and my mind is blown. These are just ridiculously amazing. I can’t wait to come back and try more menu items. Unbelievably good!

Food is amazing! Excellent atmosphere & service would definitely recommend this Resturant to anyone looking for some authentic wood fired pizza! Not to mention the desserts are fabulous!

We love LDV, however, they did not seem prepared for our reservation of 19. Service was extremely slow, which was unfortunate. The food was very good. I would not recommend LDV for a large group.

This was my first time here, the service was friendly and good. Great atmosphere, I had the pizza, which was a thin crust pizza. The toppings were good but my crust was burnt! That's why I gave it 2 stars, would I go back? Yes, hopefully I get a better crust next time it has potential, I believe they need to clean the wood oven better after each pizza?

I’m so confused by the hype of LDV. I live in bridgeland and after seeing and hearing great things we decided to try it. The first two times we went we stood in the doorway like idiots until the bartender told us “not a chance” we’d get a table - no time frame, just no chance. I understand being busy but I’ve been a restaurant manager for 6+ years and what a lack of customer service. The third time we decided to go, albeit reluctantly because it was close by and we were craving pizza. We got seated and greeted right away. Our waitress forgot to ring in our starter - the meatballs, which take a long time as is but we were easy. I don’t have so much of a complaint about the service as I do with the food. Nice crust but the BLANDEST pizza sauce I’ve ever had. I am shocked. It tasted like a can of tin tomatoes both times..... I wanted to come here so badly and we were SO beyond disappointed. We did have the Nutella pizza desert which was nice, but I wouldn’t go back.

I ate at LDV pizza a few weeks ago for the first time and after having their muscle appetizer and shrimp salad I become horribly ill with food poisoning all night.

I called the restaurant immediately to let them know their seafood was obviously off, and after talking to three different people they apologized and said it was likely the muscles since the shells are open and even though they keep them in ice, any bacteria can easily fester regardless of the storing/washing process.



After taking down my information and saying they would “check” the state kitchen, I never heard from them again.

Would’ve been nice if they at least handled the situation appropriately and offered to refund me for my unclean meal.



The waitress that night was also incredibly rude and not only did she not even greet us or introduce herself, but she barely spoke another word all night.

Not impressed. I will never eat here again and would not recommend it to anyone.
