Le Château

I was looking to buy a dress for my cousins wedding but the staff had little patience for younger looking customers that were in university. They were so unbelievably rude at this location, I will never go back there.

I went to Le Chateau located in Market Mall (Calgary, Alberta) yesterday. The customer service there was awful. When I went inside store one of the employee came and I thought she came to help me finding right fit and style, so I greet her with "Hi". She ignored me and started talking to another employee standing as a cashier. Then after 3 mins when I was struggling to find my size, another employee came to me and rudely told me that your kid is doing back and forth in the store, can you ask him to stay inside or go out? I was shocked. I mean seriously, instead of asking me if I need help finding what I am looking for you are telling me that I should stop my kid doing back and forth in the store? I mean how it matters to you if he is coming in store calmly and going out calmly? he can come in and go out 100 times, it should not be an issue. Though I kept quite and asked my wife to stay out with my kid, my wife was like let's get out of this horrible store and I told her that I need to buy 3 dress pants and there is always a nice pants in this store, so she agreed to stay out with my kid.

Then I went to that lady to ask for help. I ask her that all the pants here are very long for me, do you know in which section I can find length 30? and she replied me we don't have any. wow.. is this your answer suppose to be? I understand may be you don't have any, but please explain me politely why you don't have it and if you can order it for me or no? That was very offending visit to Market Mall location. I will never come back to that store again. Tip top tailors and RW & Co. are far better in providing exceptional customer service.

I've had a few great experiences at this store in the last few months. Friendly staff, orginazed and clean.

All of my clothes from here have never held up long term, not a big fan, staff was nice though!

Nice clean organized store, but the Asian lady who is (or acts like) the manager is very snobby and a bit rude. None of the staff seemed happy to be there today.
