Left Coast Collective Description

My name is Theresa Westhaver. As the Owner /Co-Founder of Left Coast Collective, I am of proud Secwepemc, Metis, Cree and Scottish ancestry was born and raised in Jasper, AB Canada.

I’m passionate about creating an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary Indigenous beadwork, as well as a line of fiber arts, including a collection of cozy toque and headband designs. Throughout my designs, I strive to use local, ethical and sustainably harvested materials, such as local and often hand-dyed natural wool fibers, antler, birchbark, leather, driftwood, quills, etc. My unique line of knits, “Not Your Granny’s Crochet”, feature soft, even crochet knits, and funky (often handmade) button details – ideal accessories for our cool Canadian seasons and those chilly days in the Rocky Mountains.
