Legacy Kitchens

We recently completed a renovation through Legacy Kitchens, and from the first contact made with them right through to the completion of it, the experience exceeded our expectations. We worked with Michael in the design process and his professionalism, knowledge, quick response time and patience instilled in us a confidence that this project would go well. We appreciated his understanding when we decided to put the project on hold for a few months during the peak of Covid.
Each of the trades displayed professionalism, knowledge and skill and kept the project on track to finish on the date which was originally given us at the start. Thanks to Michael, Marc, Adrian, Derek, Dan and May for superior service.
Without hesitation, we would recommend Legacy Kitchens. They are a company that has been in business for many years and it's easy to understand why.

Although the majority of my experience with Legacy was great there were a couple of things that prevent me from giving the full 5.

When we first did the design of the kitchen Kellie (the Designer who was great to work with) made some assumptions about the size of the farm sink until we could give her the model number of the actual sink. Which was fine, we just didn't get an updated set of drawings with new cabinet sizes. So when I had a plumber come in to move the plumbing I based my layout on a 36" base cabinet when it should have been 34 1/2".

The project manager said it was probably a verbal...and it very well may have been but it would have been at least 4 months earlier. Surely I could have gotten updated drawings in that time.

One of the base cabinets was made 1/2" too wide and we had to add a 1/2" filler strip to the dishwasher gable.

In the end it shifted the island around 3/4" to 1". It's not much but it made getting the fridge back in a little more difficult.

I never did meet the project manager, only talked to her on the phone and through email. I know it was Covid but I met with everyone else face to face.

All in all is was a great experience with Legacy, just those couple of things that prevent a full 5. Kellie our designer was great, very pleasant with great input when needed. Our installer Martin was great. Always on time, very pleasant and interesting fellow, did great work quickly and accommodated us (as much as possible) with cutting in the garage. The field supervisor Ryan was very prompt and took care of the final details.

This spring we had Legacy do our kitchen renovation. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a major renovation.
The showroom was a good place to go to see the product lines and colors available. The installation of the cabinets went extremely well. Legacy Kitchens has very professional people working with them, they responded quickly to my needs and requests. I LOVE my new kitchen!

Our experience with Legacy Kitchen was outstanding. A complete renovation of our kitchen, including flooring, the half bath, and baseboards on the main floor was completed on time. Michael B is a creative designer, bringing solutions to create a modern, timeless and more functional kitchen. He listens, proposes options, gives you time to think about things, tweaking the design as me moved forward in the process. The cabinets are of high quality with endless options available. We were provided with a detailed schedule of what was getting done each day. Legacy’s « skilled team » did not disappoint…..a very impressive group of highly qualified people. Legacy renovated my 22 year old kitchen and adjacent laundry/mud room. Complete gut and rebuild. Couldn't be happier. On budget and on time! Legacy weren't the least expensive, but between Paul and his team of tradesman they were worth every penny.

From a design perspective, Paul is incredible. Lengthy detailed interview process that took our conceptual layout we had in mind to a wonderful design. Execution was flawless - minor "found work", i.e. "that outlet isn't up to code", or "that pipe isn't sloped the right amount", was handled with no added costs.

Part way through we extended the scope to include another room, and the team of tradesmen Legacy use gave very reasonable quotes and did the work as promised.

I'd mention all the trades and subtrades, but suffice to say thanks to Boyd, Bryan, Cindy, Chris, Dan, Danny, Neil, Paul, Rochelle, and at Legacy Dan, May and Paul!

Pete the service guy arrived right on time, was friendly and did a fabulous job and explained everything as he was doing the repairs. Service department is top notch and was so accommodating. Got a appointment within 2 days, Amazing. Keep up the good work.

We had all of our cabinets and millwork for our kitchen, bathrooms and mudroom done for our new home designed, fabricated and installed by Legacy over 4 years ago now. They were able to give us exactly what we envisioned with respect to design and all the special details we wanted. We were very pleased with the installation and have enjoyed a very high quality product.
With regular daily wear and tear there were a few touch ups I recently wanted done. Their service department was outstanding, having all of my information on file and sending out a technician within a few days. All of the touch ups were done quickly and very professionally, leaving everything looking like new. I would certainly use Legacy again for any project and I highly recommend them to anyone building or renovating.

We recently had our kitchen renovated by Legacy. I was very impressed with them. It had the potential to go very sideways a couple of times as they, as a company, had a couple of tragedies to deal with. Those tragedies meant that my job had to be reworked. They went above and beyond to make sure that my job stayed on schedule. We did have a couple of what I would call miscommunications. Legacy staff dealt with my concerns in a prompt and professional manner. Our project stayed on budget and on time. Any deficiencies were immediately acknowledged and fixed. And that fact is what sets them apart from so many other contractors. If we ever had a concern: they dealt with it fairly and promptly.

Our kitchen is beautiful and functional. Thank you to Michael, May and John.

First off.. you will get a great job from these guys. The work is very good and the product is excellent. Everything looks fantastic. So why only 4 stars and not 5? Price and the design service are both terrible. Dock off one star for the price and another for the small projects staff. But I've got to give a star back because our installer Paul went so far above and beyond it was amazing. I hear they are getting a few more people to help out in the over worked small projects area so who knows... by the time you do your project they may be back to 5 stars.
