Lekker Yeg - Cupcakes Description
Having always had a passion for fresh homemade baked goods from scratch, I've actively shared my tasty treats with my friends and family. Finally after much prodding on their part, I am beginning my journey as a little company, to spread the tasty around my hometown, Edmonton.
While living in the Netherlands for 6 months in 2016, I discovered one of my favourite words in the Dutch language: Lekker. Lekker means many things, cool, sweet, neat; but originated as their word for Tasty. I later had a German man tell me it means more than tasty in his language, he said in German it means "I must have this in my mouth" it is so desirable. And that is my aim in providing baked from scratch, flavourful cakes and cupcakes.
