You will not find a more caring and compassionate veterinary clinic anywhere in Edmonton! My cat was diagnosed with terminal kidney disease, but received the utmost in professional care in his final days. Upon going in to say a final tearful farewell to my friend of 15 years, I was informed that I would not be billed any charges for his final day of care. The people who work here show respect and compassion not only for the animals they care for, but for the people they serve as well.

Special people work here! We have always been greeted warmly and treated with respect. Our bunnies (Skye and Moley) have always been extremely well taken care of when we've visited the clinic. Though they have recently passed on, we will always be grateful to Dr. Lapointe and the caring staff at Lessard Collingwood. Thank you! Ann King ❤❤

My puppy is only 6 months old and has made quite a few trips to the vet, I always feel so welcome here and every staff member treats my dog so wonderfully. Dr McDonald has especially been so helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

I recently lost both of my kitties, one to a terminal illness, and another to old age and chronic illness in less then 3 weeks. The vets at Lessard did everything they possibly could, were caring and compassionate through every stage, and finally they sent me a lovely card and donated to animal medical research in my pets name. I recently received an acknowledgment letter from the Companion Animal Health Fund at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine thanking Lessard for its donation and sending its sympathies for my Casper. Recently Dr. McDonald was compassionate and loving while easing my elderly cat Soot’s journey across the rainbow bridge as well. I can’t thank them enough for being so understanding of my complete loss of self control at that time. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a very caring and thorough vet for their fur family. Thank you again for everything, on behalf of myself, and in memory of Casper and Soot.

Dr.Lapointe and the staff went above & beyond what we normally receive for vet care. We spent nearly $600 at Emergency the other night for our dog and did not get the nearly the same amount insight or feedback that we had in one regular visit with Dr.Lapointe. All the staff were compassionate & caring towards our dog (as usual). We feel that they truly care about their patients and aren't numbed by the heartache that comes with working in a veterinary clinic. More importantly, Dr.Lapointe takes the time to explain scientific information in a clear manner & she is on top of the latest research. We are so grateful for the staff here & will be sad to have to find a new clinic once we move. Thank you to all the staff here for everything you do each day!

Dr. Lapointe and the excellent staff at this clinic have treated all of my rabbits with respect and kindness. We have been through cancer, stasis, heart murmurs and much more! She is thorough and will leave no stone unturned to find out what is going on to take care of your animal - and all of our babies have seemed to sense her caring way, because they have always behaved for her! :)
