Let'S Bake

An educational hands-on bread making presentation.

Let's Bake is an exciting educational opportunity for students to learn more about where their food comes from, and have the confidence boosting, sensory enriching experience of baking bread.
Through the course of the presentation students learn through hands on real experience, simulated through play opportunities, and interactive stories the process of planting a grain of wheat, how it grows, is harvested, is ground it into flour and is made into a loaf of bread.
Students cooperate and work together in small groups to make their own fresh bread following a one-step-at –a time recipe. They learn about the ingredients required and where each ingredient comes from.
