You're not always going to be able to put forth 100% of your focus towards health and fitness, it's a cycle of change. But as long as you're progressing and seeing change in the long run towards your goals, that's what matters
Strong ‚úÖ Flexible ‚úÖ Strong through full range of motion? Questionable. But why is this important?
Well firstly you generate a greater power output even if you use less weight and do full range. This is applied to typical gym exercises too like bicep curls and squats (or quarter squats).
Secondly, these slow eccentrics help to not only strengthen the muscle but the connective tissue as well, something that's not often trained but needs to be!

It's official! I got the plaque to prove it lol. This fancy piece of wood and metal was hard earned through sweat and tears (no blood thankfully). I'll be making a video that will go into depths about the competition process so look out for that, you'd be surprised at the lengths I went to achieve this
