We just want to share with you our Lexus experience last weekend when my wife and I purchased our brand new Lexus NX 200t. We really want to thank Gerald for a job well done.



When we walked into the Lexus entrance, it was Gerald that greeted us immediately and welcomed us with a big smile on his face and the willingness to help us out. He was very patient with us throughout, answered all our questions competently, and was very helpful. We tried to request and negotiate pricing with him and he did his best to accommodate us and to ensure that our needs were met. Although we had a lot of “requests” as it’s a very expensive car, he was very willing to help us out and he remained very calm throughout. We never felt any anger or any annoyance or any feelings like we were asking for “too much” at all from him. We also never felt like he was “pressuring” us at all to buy the car.



After we decided to purchase the car, we asked if he had a good day (in terms of sales), and he said that he actually had a potential buyer but at the end decided to change his mind and he felt very disappointed. What is so amazing is that, even though Gerald felt disappointed from the previous buyer that didn’t turn out, we never felt ANY emotions from him that once made us think that he had a very bad morning or had a very bad day so far. Instead, he was very positive, very helpful and very kind to us. To us, that shows us that Gerald has integrity – he doesn’t give up even if he had a bad sales day and he doesn’t let those emotions affect the rest of the customers. Wow! We were amazed and we felt very inspired by such an amazing quality Gerald has as not many people can do this.

Our after sales service experience has been nothing short of fabulous. Staff are courteous, friendly and open. When you get your car serviced here, it's a very trusting place. Of course there is the barista bar, and if you want, the manicure/pedicure salon.

After driving my 2011 RX 350 for 200,000 kilometers, I decided to trade it in for a new vehicle. I didn't think I would like any car as much, but after having my new NX200T for a week, I know why I buy Lexus! Plus the service at Royal Oak was first class. A few months back, I purchased a 2017 RX 350 from Lexus of Royal Oak. Alex was knowledgeable and patient with answering my many questions about the vehicle and went above and beyond in ensuring I received the best value for the vehicle I wanted. Today I experienced the most outstanding service when I took the vehicle in to change the tires and repair a rock chip in the windshield. From the moment I entered the service bay, every staff member made sure I was looked after in a courteous and respectful manner. And the wonderful mani while I waited for my vehicle was over the top in customer service. As I drove away in my immaculately cleaned vehicle, I couldn’t help thinking how this dealership has certainly taken the time to hire outstanding personnel and are making customer service a top priority. On top of that, I LOVE my RX!! I live in the far south of the city, but will gladly make the drive for every required service on my RX.

Was here on the weekend checking out IS series. This sales person approached. The fact is we WASTED an hour in this dealer. There was no pricing info besides each vehicle like what the other Lexus dealer in town does. He knew we are repeating Lexus customer. He didn’t bother/care to print out the pricing sheet when we asked for pricing and packages, just told us to CHECK ONLILNE. Kept asking us for our budget, pushing us hard to do leasing, but when asked him for financing and leasing plans and rates, he only said the rate is changing every moment and NO data is available UNLESS we decided to buy right away. Also pushing us hard to buy immediately otherwise no more info can be given out because he failed to close out the deal with another customer when this customer decided to take a better deal from another sales person (isn’t this the risk of being a sales person?). Asked him the design of the car and he had to go online and read that out. Absolutely not familiar with the products he is selling. To summarize, we have to go online to check out the car rather than going to the dealer. Feeling absolutely pissed off by this luxury car dealer. We thought we would have more options when Royal Oak Lexus is opened in town, but this experience is telling us it is most likely not. We never had such bad sales service with Lexus of Calgary.

I was disgusted and insulted to learn that Lexus had bought parking space at YYC, at the expense of accessible parking for those with mobility and health issues. This is a shamefully elitist ploy, which is completely unacceptable in this day and age. As Lexus owners ourselves, we will never park in those spots, being far more grateful for our good health and mobility than we are proud of owning a brand of vehicle. We will be bringing this to the attention of YYC, as well, but do know that as frequent users of YYC and as Lexus owners, we are exceedingly disappointed by the lapse in judgement and the greedy displacement of those with health needs. Shame on you.

I purchased a Nissan Maxima 2011 in Dec 2017. I was assured of the "extensive safety clearance" that they go through to pass the Lexus standards. I was told how this car passed with "flying colors"(have emails proving it). It got delivered on Dec 19, 2017. I took it for the first drive and the car started wobbling and made a rowdy sound to the point that I had to pullover on the highway. Turns out a lug from the tire fell off. 2 weeks later, the battery was flat(which I replaced with my own money). Another two weeks and the engine light came on. I was told that if I wanted to investigate, and it's not under the warranty, I would have to pay $150 for the inspection. I contacted Le Var who agreed to waive the inspection fees. My mechanic determined that the transmission fluid needed replacement as per the engine light detector. Lexus Royal Oak kept my car for two days and I kept reiterating to make sure the fluid is changed. When I picked up the car and came home, the bill I was handed showed charges of cleaning up the car and maintenance rather than fluid change. In the details it said they did extensive road testing, however, the mileage was only over by maybe 30 or so kms. I feel like they thought that if theyd make it "look pretty" I woule be happy. Two weeks later, the engine light came on again. when I took it to my Mechanic who btw lives all the way on the other end of the city(35 min drive one way), this time it was the mass air flow sensor that was gone.



So far I've had the engine light go off 7 times in less than 4 months. The only thing I had requested them for was reliability. I feel disappointed and extremely upset. Although they maintained a very professional attitude, I feel the mechanics in the shop lack credibility.

After driving my 2011 RX 350 for 200,000 kilometers, I decided to trade it in for a new vehicle. I didn't think I would like any car as much, but after having my new NX200T for a week, I know why I buy Lexus! Plus the service at Royal Oak was first class. A few months back, I purchased a 2017 RX 350 from Lexus of Royal Oak. Alex was knowledgeable and patient with answering my many questions about the vehicle and went above and beyond in ensuring I received the best value for the vehicle I wanted. Today I experienced the most outstanding service when I took the vehicle in to change the tires and repair a rock chip in the windshield. From the moment I entered the service bay, every staff member made sure I was looked after in a courteous and respectful manner. And the wonderful mani while I waited for my vehicle was over the top in customer service. As I drove away in my immaculately cleaned vehicle, I couldn’t help thinking how this dealership has certainly taken the time to hire outstanding personnel and are making customer service a top priority. On top of that, I LOVE my RX!! I live in the far south of the city, but will gladly make the drive for every required service on my RX.

Was here on the weekend checking out IS series. This sales person approached. The fact is we WASTED an hour in this dealer. There was no pricing info besides each vehicle like what the other Lexus dealer in town does. He knew we are repeating Lexus customer. He didn’t bother/care to print out the pricing sheet when we asked for pricing and packages, just told us to CHECK ONLILNE. Kept asking us for our budget, pushing us hard to do leasing, but when asked him for financing and leasing plans and rates, he only said the rate is changing every moment and NO data is available UNLESS we decided to buy right away. Also pushing us hard to buy immediately otherwise no more info can be given out because he failed to close out the deal with another customer when this customer decided to take a better deal from another sales person (isn’t this the risk of being a sales person?). Asked him the design of the car and he had to go online and read that out. Absolutely not familiar with the products he is selling. To summarize, we have to go online to check out the car rather than going to the dealer. Feeling absolutely pissed off by this luxury car dealer. We thought we would have more options when Royal Oak Lexus is opened in town, but this experience is telling us it is most likely not. We never had such bad sales service with Lexus of Calgary.

I was disgusted and insulted to learn that Lexus had bought parking space at YYC, at the expense of accessible parking for those with mobility and health issues. This is a shamefully elitist ploy, which is completely unacceptable in this day and age. As Lexus owners ourselves, we will never park in those spots, being far more grateful for our good health and mobility than we are proud of owning a brand of vehicle. We will be bringing this to the attention of YYC, as well, but do know that as frequent users of YYC and as Lexus owners, we are exceedingly disappointed by the lapse in judgement and the greedy displacement of those with health needs. Shame on you.

I purchased a Nissan Maxima 2011 in Dec 2017. I was assured of the "extensive safety clearance" that they go through to pass the Lexus standards. I was told how this car passed with "flying colors"(have emails proving it). It got delivered on Dec 19, 2017. I took it for the first drive and the car started wobbling and made a rowdy sound to the point that I had to pullover on the highway. Turns out a lug from the tire fell off. 2 weeks later, the battery was flat(which I replaced with my own money). Another two weeks and the engine light came on. I was told that if I wanted to investigate, and it's not under the warranty, I would have to pay $150 for the inspection. I contacted Le Var who agreed to waive the inspection fees. My mechanic determined that the transmission fluid needed replacement as per the engine light detector. Lexus Royal Oak kept my car for two days and I kept reiterating to make sure the fluid is changed. When I picked up the car and came home, the bill I was handed showed charges of cleaning up the car and maintenance rather than fluid change. In the details it said they did extensive road testing, however, the mileage was only over by maybe 30 or so kms. I feel like they thought that if theyd make it "look pretty" I woule be happy. Two weeks later, the engine light came on again. when I took it to my Mechanic who btw lives all the way on the other end of the city(35 min drive one way), this time it was the mass air flow sensor that was gone.



So far I've had the engine light go off 7 times in less than 4 months. The only thing I had requested them for was reliability. I feel disappointed and extremely upset. Although they maintained a very professional attitude, I feel the mechanics in the shop lack credibility.
