My name is Christa L Duquette. I am a Certified Labour Doula and I took training through DONA International in February 2012 and a refresher in May 2013. I completed my Full Birth /Labour Doula Certification through DONA in April of 2014 and am working on my Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypno Doula training.

I have three children, Two daughters who attend a local elementary school and a little boy who is truly now a toddler not a baby anymore.

I also work with the Volunteer Doula Program at Olds Hospital, and Calgary CARE Doulas, helping to reach more women who want a Doula.

I’ve done many wonderful things in my life, the best so far is being a stay-at-home mom and wife. But recently I’ve added another wonderful thing to my life, being a Birth Doula. It’s a calling and a passion I’ve discovered that I really enjoy. Attending Births and supporting women and their families in this momentous event is truly an honor. It is such a beautiful occasion to witness and it brings me great joy to help those couples in the way that they wish.
