This Celtic style Pub first opened its doors in August of 1999. A wonderful combination of Irish, Scottish and Canadian styles, Limericks is warm, inviting and is sure to be on your list of top pubs in the city! Built on two floors, Limericks charming décor is filled with rich, warm colors, beautiful stained glass and antiques. Smaller, separate rooms and areas add to the authenticity of Irish Pubs and are perfect for any type of function, right from board room meetings to formal dinner parties.
The continuously rotating draught beer selection is one for the books!
Currently sitting at 48 taps, from all around the world, this delight definitley makes Limericks a true draught house. Ask for a flight of beer, and the staff will be happy to help you pick out the best they have to offer. we were in limericks tonight (June 9th) and the server I had (Terra) was amazing! She had fantastic customer service, very helpful and respectful. We had a great evening and couldn't of asked for a better evening!!
You will not find better wings in Calgary then you will here. Especially on Monday nights. $0.19/wing for premium wings. Great service. You have to wait for food sometimes. But that’s to be expected. Great beer deals as well. Never had an issue at this place. Highly recommend their burgers and brunch as well. Great job to all the staff.
Very much enjoyed an early dinner.. or late lunch with my favourite girl, Sandra. Good food (though too much of a good thing!) and good service!! Thanks!!

Nice place, great patio overlooking rivers of pickup trucks on McLeod trail. Good selection of beers and great food for a lazy afternoon with friends!
Enjoyed the fish n chips ... all the food prices in the pub are a tad on the expensive side though.
Food was good. Waitress was not. No service at all.
They need a new bartender. The paralyser was the worst I've ever had! Not sure what he put in it ?? And the orange juice in the Mai Tai tasted "off". The steak, however, was excellent!
My wife and I went last night to have a beer and some Wings. I had to go to the bar and ask if we could order a drink. Table was very dirty and when it was cleaned we could set anything on table for about 15 mins because of how dirty it was. 9 bucks for a gluten free beer is brutal, Mongonzo is a popular one and is 3.50 in store. Wings were not the best at all and I won't go back and have more.

Worst Experience Ever... Went For Brunch With 2 of my friends,.. The Bacon Came Out Way Under cooked and Cold on both plates and my other friends food(quesadilla) didn't come out until way later.... the gluten free toast was not even toasted. don't think i would ever go back

We all ordered and our food and they brought everyone's food except 1 person ..i had to ask where is the other plate of food this man ordered..i asked to speak with a manager who I made a formal complaint.
The manager asked me well what do you want me to Do? Uh really are you not a manager I asked...like wow...very unprofessional and lost me as a customer ...
They are the best. The best in sending people away to other pubs. Don’t expect to come in on a wing night and have less than 4 beers unavailable (house beers).
We already had experiences of food poising (1x), missing items listed on menu (5x including “sorry we can’t make you coffee we are out of hot water”), slow service (anamoly to get your food on time).
We are so naive that we keep giving you chances every time we go out because it’s close to our house.
Good luck with running your business, you really need it as it seems to be a miracle you haven’t closed yet.

Management is stealing my earnings from St Patricks day. I give this establishment 0 stars. I just want my money. stealing an employees earnings is extremely low.
I’d have to say one of the worst service experiences ever. Not greeted well at the start at all. I think Mitch was his name. Just slow and non responsive. Not quite sure why he is serving tables. Irish nachos were way smaller than they were before, beer was even a bit flat. When our burgers were delivered the girl with the black and white braids delivered the food(who obviously needs to study her table numbers ) her boob was in our food. Limericks you need to either pick up your act or the the personnel that you hire. I don’t often leave very low tips but tonight was one of those nights.
If you're looking for good food and good service, avoid limericks! I used to trust the food and drink from here, but lately it has gone downhill bigtime. We had to go get our own side plates, utensils, and napkins. Beer was flat, and the portions were undersized and overpriced. ($23 for 1/2 pound of "irish" nachos is ridiculous) Servers have no idea about where the tables are, and food came out wrong. When the bills were brought, the prices were also incorrect (pricing for specials was not entered). I can honestly say I've never left 0 tip before, but this was my first time. Food was alright, nothing special though. Never had service this shit in my life. NEVER coming here again.
I went to Limericks on Monday the 3rd. The Service we had was terrible. When our waitress did come around which was not often we had to reorder drinks on multiple occasions that she had forgot. When it came to getting the bill it was a struggle as well and required multiple corrections.
In this economy I am surprised that a business can afford to lose Patrons due to poor service and worse attitudes.
Has gone downhill recently.
More TV’s upstairs than you can possibly need makes it more like just another noisy Calgary sports bar than a “traditional pub”.
Traditional pub 20 ounce pint glasses have almost disappeared in favor of smaller “glasses” or “sleeves”, but the prices continue to rise.
Food is mediocre at times ….and good other times …... Just not consistently good for the prices charged.
Has a fairly high turnover of bar keepers /waitress staff and the current General Manager has a poor disposition towards customers.
Badly needs a “re-set” to bring it back to the time when it had regulars who met almost nightly at the bar. Those days are long gone …!

Worst Experience Ever... Went For Brunch With 2 of my friends,.. The Bacon Came Out Way Under cooked and Cold on both plates and my other friends food(quesadilla) didn't come out until way later.... the gluten free toast was not even toasted. don't think i would ever go back
We went for wings and there were 5 of us which we waited for about 10 min before we were served. We all ordered and our food and they brought everyone's food except 1 person ..i had to ask where is the other plate of food this man ordered..i asked to speak with a manager who I made a formal complaint.
The manager asked me well what do you want me to Do? Uh really are you not a manager I asked...like wow...very unprofessional and lost me as a customer ...
They are the best. The best in sending people away to other pubs. Don’t expect to come in on a wing night and have less than 4 beers unavailable (house beers).
We already had experiences of food poising (1x), missing items listed on menu (5x including “sorry we can’t make you coffee we are out of hot water”), slow service (anamoly to get your food on time).
We are so naive that we keep giving you chances every time we go out because it’s close to our house.
Good luck with running your business, you really need it as it seems to be a miracle you haven’t closed yet.
Service was insanely slow, and I don't think it was that busy. Server claimed we were short on the bill when she had got the number of drinks wrong.
We haven't been to this location in over a year and now we remember why. Mediocre food and poor service.

Management is stealing my earnings from St Patricks day. I give this establishment 0 stars. I just want my money. stealing an employees earnings is extremely low.
I’d have to say one of the worst service experiences ever. Not greeted well at the start at all. I think Mitch was his name. Just slow and non responsive. Not quite sure why he is serving tables. Irish nachos were way smaller than they were before, beer was even a bit flat. When our burgers were delivered the girl with the black and white braids delivered the food(who obviously needs to study her table numbers ) her boob was in our food. Limericks you need to either pick up your act or the the personnel that you hire. I don’t often leave very low tips but tonight was one of those nights.
If you're looking for good food and good service, avoid limericks! I used to trust the food and drink from here, but lately it has gone downhill bigtime. We had to go get our own side plates, utensils, and napkins. Beer was flat, and the portions were undersized and overpriced. ($23 for 1/2 pound of "irish" nachos is ridiculous) Servers have no idea about where the tables are, and food came out wrong. When the bills were brought, the prices were also incorrect (pricing for specials was not entered). I can honestly say I've never left 0 tip before, but this was my first time. Food was alright, nothing special though. Never had service this shit in my life. NEVER coming here again.
I went to Limericks on Monday the 3rd. The Service we had was terrible. When our waitress did come around which was not often we had to reorder drinks on multiple occasions that she had forgot. When it came to getting the bill it was a struggle as well and required multiple corrections.
In this economy I am surprised that a business can afford to lose Patrons due to poor service and worse attitudes.
Has gone downhill recently.
More TV’s upstairs than you can possibly need makes it more like just another noisy Calgary sports bar than a “traditional pub”.
Traditional pub 20 ounce pint glasses have almost disappeared in favor of smaller “glasses” or “sleeves”, but the prices continue to rise.
Food is mediocre at times ….and good other times …... Just not consistently good for the prices charged.
Has a fairly high turnover of bar keepers /waitress staff and the current General Manager has a poor disposition towards customers.
Badly needs a “re-set” to bring it back to the time when it had regulars who met almost nightly at the bar. Those days are long gone …!
Not the pub it once used to be.
