we are lucky to have a few great record stores in edmonton, but this one is my favourite. really eclectic selection of music. if there's ever a problem, owner kris is quick to take care of it. both him and his staff are very friendly and helpful. if you collect vinyl records (and they have some cd's too, and even a few cassettes!) you definitely should spend lots of time and money here.

Whenever I go into Listen to pick up my record orders, I always end up finding some other gems that I can't believe are just sitting on the shelves. This place is true blue; and trouble if you're a collector of esoteric records ;)

When I get a chance to get down to Listen, I am never disappointed:)

Unlike the obnoxious pricks at Black Byrd who will literally scoff at your face and roll their eyes if you ask for certain things, you'll be able to actually engage in a conversation about music with people who work here.



Had a problem with a warped record once and I got it swapped out absolutely no questions asked. Great store, they know their stuff!

These folks have always been nice and welcoming, especially when helping me to find certain records (whether I've simply missed it store, or requested a special order). They've come through in a pinch on several occasions and I can't recommend them enough.

Some people say that record stores aren't what they used to be... I say pish-posh! Listen is an excellent place to nerd out with your fellow music and vinyl junkies.

Also - I always seem to leave Listen with less money than I came in with... which, doesn't even feel like a problem.

Listen is great: a definite portion of my library was purchased at Listen.

Love it! This is my favorite record store in Edmonton you never know what you're going to come across. I make sure that my bank account is full before walking in there for sure lol

It's on the other side of town from me, but it's always great once I am there. Picked up some real gems there, and always a great selection. Probably my favorite haunt for good vinyl and a great conversation about music.

Hands down the greatest record store in Edmonton. Vibe and selection are always top notch. Also gets my vote for favourite staff! My minimal wave selection would be much weaker without their knowledge and taste!
