Our team had a special visit from Rugby today! We are so excited for Rugby to join our therapeutic team this fall full time. Rugby is our Dogs with Wings Assistance Dog Society Facility Dog. We are so excited!

Proud to accept this cheque from the NAIOP Edmonton golf tournament committee from their successful golf tournament in June. Groups like this that choose us as the charity to donate their proceeds to really make a difference to us with our fundraising efforts. As a founding member of acclaimed Newfoundland band Great Big Sea, Séan McCann has sold over 2 million albums and travelled the world making every night of the week a Saturday night for the legions of music lovers who propelled the band to fame. Despite the success however, it was a very unhealthy place for Séan to be. Mus...ic is supposed to connect, heal, and bring happiness, and while Séan was giving that to tens of thousands of people a night, he himself was lost. Instead of finding truth in his music he was using it to hide, which wasn’t fair to his fans or himself. So he left the band and started over.

The Little Warriors Be Brave Ranch is now accepting applications for girls ages 13-16 years old.
Our program is for girls and boys aged 8-12, and girls age 13-16 who have been sexually abused. It is a child-centered, family friendly program that uses evidence-based interventions. The treatment program is one-year long. During that time, children stay at the Ranch four separate times for a total of 10 weeks. Their first stay at the Ranch is 28 days and their three subsequent ...stays are 12 days each. The remainder of our treatment is provided on an outpatient basis. While children are in our care at the Ranch, they are in contact with their parents on a daily basis. Parents have the option of visiting in the evenings and on weekends. In addition, children have the option to maintain weekend sport/extra-curricular events. This is arranged collaboratively between parents/guardians and clinical team to best meet the clinical needs of each child.
Children receive comprehensive individual, group and/or family therapeutic interventions while in the program, combined with physical and recreational activities, within a camp-like environment. This allows children to rediscover their capabilities, and supports them in facing their challenges. Within the enriched and supportive environment, children are able to enjoy their childhood, and start to move past the terrible things that happened to them.

The Be Brave Ranch is amazing. It is so wonderfully done, and the support staff is there for the support. It is a crime the Gov't does not assist in funding. This is a place to heal. The main building has several rooms for healing. The Land surrounding the Ranch is beautifully appointed. Want to do something amazing, donate $5 - $10 - whatever you can - the statistics are staggering

Such a great organization! This will be a beautiful place that will help so many!

It is our responsibility as adults to protect our kids in our community by raising our knowledge and awareness on the subject of sexually abused children. Little warriors is a great organization that needs our help to do this.

I am so proud that Little Warriors is Canadian. We often think this only happens elsewhere but it happens right here and Little Warriors is bringing awareness and help to these kids! So so proud.

I Love What You Guys Do And I Will Continue To Support This Amazing Organization Because I've walked a mile in these Little Ones Shoes The Recovery Process Is Vital.
