Live South America

I have started planning for a grand South American adventure and wanted to invite you along!

So I have bought and suited up my Xterra, and will be leaving for South America by land. I estimate to leave at the beginning of January, 2013. My journey will take me through Vancouver, California and Central America, on my way to tour the whole of South America.

My invitation to you is to take a look at a map and decide which country has always stirred your sense of adventure. The jungle of Brazil, the coast of Colombia, the mountains of Peru or the rolling hills of Chile. There is so much to immerse yourself in, the romantic culture, the vibrant nightlife, the bustling cities and quiet pueblos. Everything is a new experience from the food, dance, music, and booze, everything is exotic, inexpensive and eye-opening.

Once you have looked into and decided what leg of my trek you'd like to join me on, drop me a line indicating your interest and we can begin planning a trip which will cater to your passions and preferences. Whether you prefer outdoors, shopping, nightclubs, museums, beaches, mountains or jungle you can see and do it all- or nothing at all!

Your trip will basically be outlined as fly into a city of your choice, I pick up and chaperon you back to the hotel that we will have chosen before hand. A pre-determined itinerary will indicate specific activities and events to be attended.

The whole time I will offer guidance, translation, protection and even entertainment. This takes the fear of language barriers or unsafe situations away from the prospect of broadening your perspectives.

I am confident in my chaperoning ability, last August after completing a year teaching English in Ecuador four of my friends flew down to join me in travelling through most of Ecuador and Colombia as well. Even on buses, carrying everything by hand we still made it safe and sound with few issues throughout.

If you've ever thought of traveling but never had the push, the drive, or the oppertunity to, here it is. The overall cost, for say two weeks, would be flight costs, food, hotel, activities and souvenirs. Also i will be accepting a deposit of $300 ($200 for friends /family) to provide this service and reserve your spot. Including the deposit and everything, for a week of living like a king you'd be looking at around $1800 per person (depending on flight costs). This includes me as your guide and translator for the duration of your stay.
