Carolyn Lohr and Valerie Miller, U of A Agriculture Horticulture majors with many years of directly related experience, are proud to announce the re-establishment of Lohr-A-Lee Greenhouses at the Olds, AB location. Originally established in 1982 by Carolyn and Beatrice Lohr at Stettler, AB, the greenhouse successfully produced and sold quality bedding plants for 18 years before closing due to Bea's health.
Carolyn and Wayne and family relocated to Olds, AB from Vancouver Island in 2004. In 2013 we purchased a 30' by 96'greenhouse at an auction and relocated it to our farm west of Olds for our start up season in 2015. A second identical house was purchased in 2014 and is up and running for the 2017 season.
Valerie Miller (Lohr) and husband Bill relocated to Olds from Calgary in 2015 and has joined Carolyn in the greenhouse venture which is truly a family operation - including sister Marilyn and other family members who drop in and help from time to time, and of course the Boxer dog Stella.
Lohr-A-Lee Greenhouses grows a diverse selection of the bedding plant favorites as well as those hard to find and unique flowers, vegetables and herbs in a broad selection of paks, pots, hanging baskets and planters.

Yet again Lohr-a-lee greenhouse outdid themselves again! I absolutely LOVE my plant pots I picked up from them today! Custom ordering way easier for me then trying to arrange them and plant them myself. Thank you so much for all 4 of them! The orange colour on the black pots looks amazing and have already gotten positive comments on them. So again thank you!
What a great little gem to find on a rainy afternoon. The plants are so lush & healthy...not at all over grown!! The staff is friendly, knowledgable & helpful. Found some new little treasures we are anxious to try!!!

Love this greenhouse!! Beautiful, healthy plants. Staff were so friendly and very helpful in picking out the right plants for certain areas. Even got some veggie plants. Will be buying all my plants here from now on.
High quality product well cared for by knowledgeable accommodating staff, and good prices.

Got fabulous Tomato Plants today with fruit already!!! And a couple Unique Corn Mixture pot! Very Cool!!

Bought 8 hanging plants, plus some individual plants. The selection is awesome, the plants are big and gorgeous, the price is even better and everyone was so friendly and helpful!
