Longevity: Exercise And Massage Therapy Description
Certified through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology with a specialization in Corrective Exercise through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and as a member of Exercise is Medicine-Canada, I strongly believe in the role that exercise can play in improving quality of life. My training is built entirely on the pursuit of identifying, demonstrating and achieving proper biomechanics to enhance quality of movement for purposes such as reducing acute /chronic pain (back, knees, shoulder, etc. ), exercising with chronic diseases (heart disease, diabetes, cancer), increasing functional strength (e. g. post rehab), avoiding future injury or simply to learn what proper movement feels like during activities of daily living, work requirements or fitness related pursuits! I strive to create programs that are holistic in nature and thus encourage collaboration with allied health care professionals such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, etc. to ensure that my clients are not only receiving the highest level of service but that they are given the greatest opportunity to achieve success.
