We enjoyed our stay (#13) very much! Easily the cleanest and well kept campsite we have had for a very long time. Pride of ownership is easy to see here.

We have enjoyed staying at Lost Lemon every year but one since 2008. We stay for one month each year in August and find the accommodations and owners/hosts to be exceptional. We will keep coming back.

Marianne and Roland run a tight ship. They take immense pride in their place and it shows. Things are always clean and well maintained. They are lovely and helpful and go out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcomed. We have 3 children and a dog and they are welcoming to all unlike another user had mentioned. Roland helped my husband fix a leak he couldn't get fixed. Roland was busy but still took the time to help out our family. Like any place they're trying to run a business and for the user who said that they didn't get a refund, it's stated right on their website without 24 hours notice you have to pay even if you didn't show up. These are the business rules of most any place you spend a night. We've coming here for a few years and will definitely return.

BEWARE!!! Very rude managers. Extremely poor customer service.

We ran into road closures in BC and couldn't make our reservation. We called them to tell them we couldn't make it and were treated very poorly. I had simply asked for some understanding of our situation and if the reservation could be canceled. I was informed that I would be charged the full amount of $48 on top of the $10 deposit we already paid. I asked if they could understand what had happened and forgive the amount because we had to pay for another RV campground that night in Nelson. I was yelled at (more like screamed at) and said there was no way that we wouldn't be charged. I couldn't believe how badly I was treated. Do not make a reservation at this place. Very rude managers.

As always a very enjoyable stay at Lost Lemon. This time we chose to stay in a cabin, which was spectacular! So clean and cozy! Our family had a great time. Kids always love coming here. See you next year.

Very well maintained but small sites and rude owners. I don't think they like kids or dogs too much so unless you're a middle aged couple with no kids they may treat you fine! Very expensive as well as their prices are based on 2 people charging $3/person extra including kids! We paid $300 for 5 nights ( not including the non refundable reservation fee of $10 ) which is outrageous! Have stayed at many campgrounds throughout Canada for far less and with much better service!

Best campground I have ever stayed at. Super clean, well-maintained, and very friendly owners. You can hear the trains and the river running beside the tenting sites. Very pleasant experience, will be back again! One of the owners even took the time to give me pointers on learning language. Very lush and well-maintained grass (perfect for tenting), pretty views. Overall great!

We have been coming to this campground for the past 5 years. Each time we have a fantastic time, the campground is so very clean and the owners take great pride. We hope to continue to come for many more years. Showers, bathrooms, laundry facility & pool are very clean and well maintained.

Did a motorcycle trip from San Francisco to Calgary. Finally heading westbound to the Crowsnest Pass I was ready for a nice quiet night of camping.

I found this place and figured that it would work. Near town to get some good food too. I set up camp but the river. The grass was nice and thick and it made it really comfortable for camping.

There was also a picnic table and electricity available. It was a decent place to rest that evening. But then, after midnight things got CRAZY!!!

I didn't know that there were train tracks on the other side of the river. The train passed by 6 times that night. Blowing it airhorn at a distance and all the way past the campground. And it was because the train was entering the town and the railroad crossings.

I didn't sleep that night. But after 6am it stopped and I rested for about 2 hours while it rained on my tent.

I would not stay here again. It was the train that ruined it. But the staff was really nice. Facilities were decent. But that darn train!

I have been camping here every August long weekend for 3 years straight. The owners are lovely people and are very accommodating. I love coming here for the Crowsnest Pass Heritage Day Festival Activities. Upon checking in Marianne always gives me a list of activities that the kids might like to participate in. We have always stayed up past the "curfew" but are quiet and are never asked to pack it in. The campground is a little tight but it is one of the nicest in the area and has a pool. Always a bonus!!!!!

User

I have camped here twice and both times were great. Sites are a bit small but we were right beside friends so that made it better. Clean bathrooms and very reasonable rates for showers. The campground is great for kids, there is a small playground and a pool to keep them happy. Great place for a short term stay. Will definitely return.
