Louise Riley Library

Came here to try to get some work done as my home office is proving rather distracting right now. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only downside is there aren't many tables, and the majority of those don't have plugs near them so you can't plug your computer in. I had to leave because my computer died and there were no open seats. For a small library, it is quite nice though.

So quiet I fell asleep.

It's not a huge library, but it has a warm and welcoming staff and an adequate collection. It really is the hub of its community, serving moms and kids, language learners and locals with special programmes. For the most part, I now mostly download my library materials from the Calgary Public Library's outstanding online site ... but I still drop by my local library and it never disappoints. The doors pop open and there it is, that amazing and unchanging "Library Smell" of books waiting to be read.

My favourite place to study! Quiet, lots of tables, and bright with big windows.

great staff , amazing kids space with great toys and a large Matt to play on and fantastic kids programs! easy to get to right across from the c train station.
