Hi! We are a team of qualified, dynamic, and experienced special needs childcare experts who specialize in caring for infants, children, or teens with special needs. Together we are creating Edmontons' first home care nursing service catering exclusively to kids!
Edmonton does not yet have a service specifically catering to children /young adults with disabilities, and the home care agencies that do care for seniors are often providing substandard services because their staff have no training in therapy through play or many of the diagnosis that are common amongst younger age groups. They have a wealth of knowledge surrounding dementia, hearing and vision loss, etc, but no specialized training and minimal experience for /with cerebral palsy, autism, and other developmental disorders that present in the early stages of life. In many cases, early intervention and appropriate physical therapy is vital to helping these kids develop to their full potential.
