What do we do?
At Love, Light and Healing we use Reiki to reduce stress and promote a deep relaxation. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well being. It is based on the same principles as acupuncture. Energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If it is blocked and does not flow freely, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed and if it is flowing well we feel good, healthy and happy.

What is a Reiki treatment like?
A Reiki treatment is similar to getting a massage but you keep your clothes on. During a treatment the client relaxes on a massage table while the practitioner uses their hands to direct energy flow, A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. It promotes a deep relaxation. It is not unusual for clients to fall asleep during a treatment.
