This location in my opinion has more variety than Home Depot on the other side 130th Ave. The only knock I have on this location is that it always seems as though there aren't a lot of staff on the floor. I found myself going up and down the aisles longer looking for assistance. Other than that - this location is ideal!

Went to the McKenzie Towne store in Calgary and Purchased a Worx 56 volt cordless leaf blower today. No indication that it was a used item, paid full price.
Once I opened at home it is filthy dirty with scuff marks on end of nozzle and up sides. The cardboard box holding charger was ripped on one side too.
Is this normal at Lowe’s? At very least it should have been sold as an open box item at a discount. I will be taking it back and going to Home Depot.

I love this store. Always has exactly what I need. Little pricey sometimes but friendly staff and good quality items.

Connor is the best kid in this store. But he has to work with the stupidest people in pluming, poor guy. They have lost a 2000$ a year in average client, because they didn't want to offer an innofensive service: threading five pipes. I bought for 50$ worth of fitting and even then, no! So I brought back the fittings, talked to the customer service, got my money back and went across the street at Home Depot where I received tremendous service, no questions asked. Human resources have to do something there. I've received terrible or no service many times there already, I've been patient enough. Adios LOWES

Only 1 cashier so used the s3lf checkout. It didn't get me a receipt. Attendant had to call for a manager, which took about 4-5 minutes for her to finally arrived. It then took her about another 5-7 minutes to locate paper and refill the machine and even more time to repeatedly enter her manager password to print me a receipt. During this time the attendant supposedly demagnetized my item so as not to set off the alarm, which it did anyways at which time a well intentioned old lady blocked my exit until the attendant came over to let her know that I was OK to leave. Never have I ever had to wait over 10 minutes to get a receipt from a store where self checkout is supposed to be fast. If I ran my business at the snails pace which I was provided that day, I wouldn't be in business very long. No sense of urgency. Having only had average or worse service at multiple locations in Calgary I will not be returning. Hopefully this mediocre work culture doesn't spill over to RONA...

Lowe's is the worst place ever. Every product I have bought here is junk. Then try to return anything is the worst thing ever, always a fight. I would rather get all my teeth pulled then deal with Lowe's again. There price match is a joke. Would not honor their own policy when shown the items. That's the last straw. Please save your time and headache and go elsewhere. At least Home Depot will honor there products and return them if you are not happy.

The staff in this store are really good. My only issue with it always seems to be stock. I can't seem to get everything I need in one location. I always end up going across the street in order to finish what I'm working on. I do like the fact that they take Airmiles.

I think one star is generous here. I bought a hose here with an eight year warranty and brought the broken hose in with the receipt. The manager told me they have never carried the hose and would not honour the warranty. So how did I have a receipt from their store with the hose on it. I went to the gate den centre and asked a question and the staff was bothered that I had asked. Same at check out. I will Never shop here again and cannot believe the low level of customer service. Seems like 4/4 of the staff here I dealt with are extremely unhappy to have this job. I would rather pay extra than to support a company like this.

This store seems to be well maintained and staffed, however it is sometimes hard to find what you are looking for because Lowe's doesn't have aisle references on their online store similar to some of the competition.

Nice products, acceptable service. I found sometimes that you are dealing with experts and that you need to be careful when approaching them and not using the correct terminology.
Incredible how easily these experts forget that they are seating in those roles because of us, the ignorant customers.
Room for improvement.

Seems I am not the only one who had terrible customer service. I bought three large toilets, not one person offered me assistance to my car. I enquired about a few other small products, nobody had the courtesy to take me to the exact aisle, just sent me on my way to try and find it down one of 2 aisles while 3 staff members in customer service just hung out talking about this and that. The only reason I purchased from Lowe's was because there was a great sale, Home Depot across the street will get my business going forward, definitely don't plan on returning again. Step up your game folks, this store is a total joke!
