Lucky Supermarket

When this store has sales, you really are saving a lot. Occasionally, they give something away if you spend a certain amount. It is fairly priced. The store front is a little bit dirty. The fish and meat section has a really strong smell, and it is is unpleasant. It makes it hard to go in that area without gagging. It's honestly horrible the products are good.
Just an update. I was here not too long ago . I saw that a can of juice was spilled. I informed the staff about the spilling and then the lady was so angry with me because I told her there was a spill. She begrudgingly cleaned it up eventually. I was just trying to help. Didn't want any accidents to happen. Then she proceeded to follow me around the store as if I was at fault. And then when I went to go check out, she came to the cashier and brought the broken can. I didn't mind paying because it's only one dollar however she acted as if it was mine, when I didn't spill it. There's no reason for me to deny it because it's only a dollar. Don't feel like coming here. I thought they were friendly. But people are just salty . Probably from all the fish in the air there .

Has a neat selection of meats and produces. I come here often with my family. Very nice! Would recommend.

Calgary Lucky Supermarket offer many variety of Asian product including vegetables. Downside for me, in my opinion. There chicken wings is wack. The wings aren't cut properly which is sad.

Best deal on Aroy-D coconut milk I've found in the city... if you use a lot of it. Can find some great produce and meat at a reasonable price. However, it's usually quite busy and the isles are overflowing with boxes and stacks of products....it looks like a hazard...

Lucky Supermarket offer great variety product including variety of vegetables, meat product, fresh seafood, and fresh & dry ingredients for the prefect meal. All neat and easy to find, if you are having problem finding something, the friendly staff to the best of their abilities to help you find anything to your satifaction. So if you are wanting to cook a homemade meal, come to lucky supermarket for your ingredients.

I visited many times, still remember the time like July 2011, my family was in Calgary and came here to buy groceries for bbq

Great selection of unique asian foods and snacks! Even moreso if you're Vietnamese

My friend was in the express line, (beside the front door), being 3 items over, she tried to pay for her items. The African lady working there counted her items and asked her to remove them back to her basket. She had to take all the items back into her basket and go stand in line behind the guy with 100 items (full cart).
But at the exact same time, (I was In line as witness) the next cashier 8 items or less.. (another express line check out) accepted a FULL cart of groceries from another customer. Being well over 100 items.
So one express check out denied my friend who had 3 items over, and the next express lady accepted 90 items over.
Customer service at it's best.

Food is fresh always. You can buy meat packaged​ or by the kg. Live seafood. Prices are very good
