Lukacs Performance Horses.
Hello everybody, we are planning a winter series of cutting, here at the Lukacs Ranch starting on January 19th, the plan is to have one show in Jan, Feb, and two in march. But we need to know if you would come. What would you like to see at these shows, what would it take to get you to come out!
... We are aiming on having a fun but competitive atmosphere.
The tentative schedule would look like this.
Lukacs Performance horses Winter series of cutting:
January 19, February 16, March 16, March 30.
These are all Saturdays, 10 AM start time.
Classes: Open ranch, fresh cattle class, fee $150 $250 added Non-pro, fresh cattle class, $150 $250 added 3000 Limited rider, fresh cattle class $150 $250 added Novice rider ranch, used cattle, $100 Jackpot, $50 add back per entry.
All these shows will be weather permitting.
We are in need of some generous sponsors so we can make this happen. As we would like to add $250 to our fresh cattle classes.
So please spread the word around and let people know, any feedback would be much appreciated.

By Pepto Power Boon, this filly standing about 14'2hh is a talented, athletic, and sweet girl. Started this May, she has been used for just about everything. Has been hauled down the road as a turn back horse, has been on multiple cattle drives, trail rides, worked cows and the flag, and most recently has been used a...s a team sorting horse.
This mare is extremely kind, has some get up and go when you need it, but calms right down when the job is done, big stopper very reliable horse. We are gonna miss this one for sure.
Johnny will have her at the sorting this Saturday Dec 1st at Thorlaksons feed yard, for anyone wishing to see her or try her!

Didyrey (Jasper)
Jasper is a 8 year old sorrel AQHA gelding sired by Dazzlerey who was sired by the great Duel Rey.
... Standing about 15hh here is a great opportunity for someone to own a great horse, he is a finished cutter, has had success in the show pen, most recently winning the open and youth for the 2018 CACHC season. He also qualified for and placed 3rd in the Bill Collins youth memorial scholarship cutting at the Calgary Stampede. He has just under $500 NCHA earnings. He is incredibly consistent, same horse every time he steps to a cow.
He can be a little quirky on the ground, but great to ride; anyone could ride him. Excellent outside, down the trail, great all around horse for someone to go on with and enjoy!

Well its a wrap! We closed out the Central Alberta Cutting Horse club season today, and what a season it was! Johnny and Jasper (Didyrey) finished 1st in the open for the season, Tommy won the youth also on Jasper and Teresa finished 2nd on Reyligious!
Thank you so much to all the directors and members who made each and every show a fun and great experience. Thanks to all the turn back help all year, couldn’t have done it without you guys! And thanks on behalf of the C...ACHC for all of our supporters and sponsors for your continued support!
We are looking forward to next season and hope to finish strong this futurity season!
