I absolutely love this university. I'm doing a bachelor of science with a major and a minor and So far I only had one unprofessional teacher but all the others are excellent. They all are always willing to help, black board is an amazing tool I use it everyday, all the staff is generally helpful, polite and friendly. One of my all time Favorite teacher is Dr. Stefan Cartledge. He's very passionate about astronomy and physics, all of his lectures are so great, when the lectures end I'm actually a little sad...seriously you can listen to this guy for hours in awe. The only issue I have is limited seating space during lunch time, a lot of people just sit and hang out in cafeteria for hours. I did my upgrading through macewan as well it's a different campus but I would strongly recommend it to anyone who might need it as well. I love being a student here and I feel very lucky with my instructors.

This institution has some of the most knowledgeable instructors in the school of continuing education. If you need a quick an easy course to brush up on a skill set choose MacEwan University for your non credit courses. Which are one or two to three day courses.

So far my first year has been amazing, the class sizes are small and it is easy to learn in. The teachers are super nice and accommodating. However, the administration can give confusing information and the campus-run stores are ridiculously expensive (I don't see how someone on a students budget can afford something priced 7 dollars when you could get it at the store for 3...). All in all I'm glad I'm taking classes here and wouldn't take them anywhere else.

Very rude staff every time I deal with them; especially the older staff. And had an extremely bad experience with one of the teachers. Absolutely do not recommend this university to anyone. One word of advise: run and do not ever look back!

Very frustrating when you need to get a document. Ive been getting transferred from an office to an office to get a piece of paper that i need for my visa extension. Apparently at Macewan they don't understand when you tell them something is urgent and your future in Canada depends on it. Very unprofessional. I feel like i lose a year of my life due to the stress i have when i need a document. You should treat your international students better, because we do pay more than twice then what everyone else pays. No special treatment is needed just understanding of our situation...

This. School is a very terrible school. They dont care about the well being of their students. They only care about money . i would advice people never to go there. Personally from experience i would advice people to not waste you loan money on their science programs or any of there useless programs, otherwise you will be paying your loan for years. U would loose and they would gain. And dont expect them to lend you a hand when ur struggling. They will never help u except decieve to gain more money from you. And their advicers are terrible , they know the college system how ever they will never tell u truth. So that is the reality of this college.

The custumer service sucks. I am registered for open studies and I tried to register for my second course that is reserved for the students in the program. I called them and one lady told me I need permision from the program. Ok all good so far. I called the program to aks permision to register. At my first course I did not have any problem registering. And the lady told me "who gave you permision to enroll in the course " my first one. I was so confused ...she was mad at me for taking a course with them ....really.... . And off course the conversation did not stop there. And this is my third incident with them ...from the ESL teacher that was just reading from a book .....to an advisor that hang up the phone while I was still talking .

Please save your money and apply for different school, the service is poor starting from the Admission manager Debbie Couve, they don't care about students they just care about the money, and now I'm asking all my ORIGINALS certificates back and they don't have it. Apparently they lost it. The should NOT take for granted our future career.

Dont find yourself alone in a room with some of the teachers from the medical office assistant program. This school is rampant with bullying, attacking of students, complete destruction of your mental health and human rights violations but they protect thier unprofessional teachers at the expense of students attending this program.

The medical office assistant program at this school is horribly run, and some of the teachers in the program treat students as thier personal punching bags. The school is aware of this problem, and has made no steps in changing anything.

If you choose to enrol in this program anyway- you've been warned about what to expect from the teaching staff of this program. Stay safe.
