ORGA 497: Business as a Force for Good, is a new course that focuses on teaching students how to measure a companies’ impact and to support a global movement of people using business as a force for good.
You will consult with local businesses to create positive impact for their employees, communities and the environment.

Congratulations to faculty member Dr. Murli for receiving a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
We don't like to brag (actually we do), but this grant is available to all post-secondary professors in Canada to apply.
Murli is researching how social entrepreneurship fosters sustainability. This means entrepreneurs are conscious and incorporating the triple bottom line—profits, people, planet— in their business practices.

Stop by the MacEwan University Health Centre, located behind Sports and Wellness, on 109 street and 105 avenue.
... The Centre has expanded its offering and now provides access to a wide spectrum of medical professionals including: doctors, primary care nurses, mental health professionals, pharmacists, dieticians and kinesiologists.

Congratulations to faculty member Dr. Ali Taleb for winning the Outstanding Author Contribution in the 2018 Emerald Literati Awards.
Dr. Taleb's paper titled "Corporate Diplomacy and Institutional Upheaval in Host Countries: The 'Arab Spring' Experience of Two Canadian Multinationals in Egypt" was published in Advanced Series in Management 2018.
