Well the caption I loved It is not why I rate the practice five stars. I don't love going to a Dentist.

I was able to get into the Dentist Dr Tamminen in a emergency situation. At least an emergency to me.

I had a 11:10 am appt. I was in the Chair about 11:15.

The Dr. with his cheerful attitude and his sweet assistant put me at ease and about one hour later I had my troubles corrected.

I might add that I had been referred to this clinic by another one who I feel were not equipped and really didn't want to correct my problem. They did say let The Dr. at the other clinic do the rough work and we will do the balance.

Well the rough work as they called it and the other done was done here all within the time frame I stated above.

Thank you for the kind and quality service but I am not apologizing for not falling in love. Lol

My husband went to Macleod trail dental for the first time last week May 9 and 10 for an examination and cleaning. He had the exam and the bottom cleaned. The next day the top.

When he came home I asked him to show me his teeth. I said there white! He said Really!! I laughed and said go look. He did. He was so amazed!

His teeth were so black before and was told that they would always be this way.

I couldn't believe a dentist would tell him that. Not only that they took advantage of him when they scaled his teeth back in 2012. And charged him 2000.00 bucks. And his teeth were still black.

Now he has gone 2 more times to Macleod trail dental and his teeth are WHITE and he can't stop showing them off. The first text I got from him was saying my teeth are WHITE. Can u believe it? He has had the polishing done. And now when he comes to give me a kiss he isn't embarrassed by his teeth. At one time he was thinki g to have all of his health but black teeth pulled out and replaced with dentures. I said No! This my husband is 52 and does not have one cavity in his mouth. That amazes me.

Thank you so much Macleod trail dental for making my husband extremely happy.

Just finished my second dental appointment with Dr. Kan & her assistant, Linda. I am so impressed with Dr. Kan, she is so gentle and explains everything that she is doing. (I'm not use to that, my previous dentist was very rough!) I was in and out of my appointment within an hour. The staff are very friendly, gentle and personable. I would definitely recommend MacLeod Trail Dental for their caring staff, friendly service and reasonable rates.

I've only been here a few times and I now wouldn't go anywhere else. The front Staff are so friendly, they make the time to go through everything with you.

And having direct billing to insurance makes such a difference in get to g the treatment you need a.s.a.p.

I've been going to this office for around 8 years now. Dr ewart I found to be not so personal. And the new staff changed everything for the better.the office got a great new facelift too. They all know.my name and my 6 year old has been going there for 6 5 years now and they all know him by his name to.. Carol has been working with my insurance to get me a partial and they watch my annual limit so I don't go over .one year we somehow went over the limit. ( not my fault) and they took care of it. Recently though I had to pay a deposit for a dentist to come in to pull a tooth. Great guy he was fast and funny and easy on the eyes. But I paid cash and when I was suppose to get my deposit back they couldn't give me cash or on to my debt card. So they said I could pick up a check the next day as my son had an appointment. Well no check was there and the lady in the back room came out to check thingsout on the coputer about my depost.and I felt that she tried every angle to see if she could put it on money maybe owed. Turned out I owed 80cents and said she would mail out a check minus the 80cents.. so now I paid a cash deposit and have to wait for a check it's been 2 weeks now and no check.. I felt that I paid cash give me my cash back. ...i spend my limit every year love all the lady's there. Just that one issue but it was the lady behind the closed doors I feel didn't seem to realise it's my money and expected to be payed back at my appointment after all it was a deposit.. I still give 5 stars though..

Samantha the hygienist is so great and always takes the time to show me how to floss better to get into my food trap spots with my braces. She’s great at gently cleaning my teeth and is lovely to chat with.



I book myself and my sons appointment at the same time and the Erin the hygienist is fantastic! He loves going there! She’s so great with kids! She makes him even more excited about his dental hygiene! Dr. Silver is wonderful she’s so polite and very friendly always takes the time to answer my questions.

I will be going back and like I said great group of people. Never felt so comfortably before.

I have been going for years and even the view of the mountains is relaxing . Erin is a superb hygienist and further to that an awesome person ,which makes teeth cleaning a fun experience . The front waiting area, with Carol and Pam , simply adds to the positive visit . The only improvement would be a more varied magazine choice . National Geographic , Time , Macleans, and an automotive addition would be appreciated by this long time patient !

Came in for a routine cleaning and had a pleasant experience all around. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcome and Amy, my hygenist, was superb. It has taken me awhile to find a dental office I am comfortable with and now I found it. I did meet one of the dentist, but sadly I can not remember her name, but she was very friendly as well. The only downside was that I had a bit of a stiff neck afterward from my angle in the chair. (totally my fault, as I should have mentioned something at the time). Otherwise, was a pleasant experience, and I will be going back for sure. Will also recommend to anyone looking for a dentist :)

Best Dental Clinic! Just had my second lower wisdom tooth removed and again I had a great experience. First time I was with Dr. Lai and this time Dr. kan they are both amazing at their jobs. I have very high anxiety and both made sure I was very comfortable the whole time. All the staff are very friendly. 100% recommend this clinic!

All staff were excellent. I do not usually enjoy dental visits and I even took my 8 year old with adhd along and staff helped to entertain him while being gentle and aware of my own dental anxieties. Thank you for being a great dental experience to ease me back into wanting to go to the dentist :-D

I had an appointment with Dr Silver. I am very anxious when it comes to any dental procedures. She helped me stay calm and told me to focus on my breathing. My filling turned out to not be a straight forward filling. Dr Silver went over all of my options, she was amazing. I had never been to a dentist that said I was in charge.

I went in specifically for sedation as I have ++anxiety with any dental procedures. The staff we great and I had a wonderful experience in the office. Just a little disappointed I now have to see another dentist to be put under which will take more money off of my very little that I have through work. So I will have to had paid for two consultations out of my money for this year when with little more questions they could have told me that they don't do IV sedation, except with one dentist, which is what I need. This isn't what I understood from their site and looking at things. Needs to be much more clear. Cause now my money is going toward consults not the much needed dental work :-(

Three consecutive before-noon appointments where I was made to wait 30 to 45 minutes. The second visit they phoned and asked if I could come in 30 minutes early, and then I sat in the chair for 45 minutes. I left after 45 min the third time.... Don't know how long it could have been. No respect for my time. And then there's the hard sell for other services. Found another professional.

I was really unhappy with my overall experience at Macleod Trail Dental. When I first arrived, I found the parking no problem but could not locate the actual building where the office was located. When I called to ask for directions, the receptionist treated me very poorly and even put me on hold, leaving me standing in -12 degree weather feeling very frustrated. The hygenist was lovely and very understanding. I have autism and she made me feel very comfortable. When I asked reception about how they would handle my own three autistic children, they were very hesitant. Each of my children have severe anxiety and I was concerned about them missing an appointment due to a panic attack. This happens rarely and most dentists I have been to have been very understanding and wave any fee in the rare event that a panic attack might happen. Macleod Trail dental was reluctant to help and stated that they would rather we take our children to a pediatric dentist instead of putting their practice through any inconvenience. I have never run into this situation before. My children are high functioning and very rarely cause a problem. Having never met my kids, I felt it was unfair and quite honestly, discriminatory to turn them away. I have decided not to return to the clinic. The dentist and hygenist were both lovely but the face of reception and their attitude really put me off.

Unless you are looking to spend your money and never see your dentist then go ahead, but they love to send you off to specialists so your sure to pay the most and give you lots of options that you don't get to choose, they do and if you disagree and request the other option they act as if they never made that an option. Friendly till they actually have work they'd have to do. Too bad I was so excited I had finally found a dentist with a heart but just like most their hearts in the money.

The office is clean. I'll give them that.



I've been waiting since March 15th 2017 to be reimbursed for a $87 over payment. They can apparently only write a cheque or put it on a credit card...I paid debit.

Long story short...the cheque has apparently been 'put in the mail' twice. Not received either time.

Set up to have my significant other to come in to pick it up in person today. Even called to double check this morning. He drove all the way there to be told 'it was put in the mail this morning'

What kind of circus is going on in their office?

We'll see if this cheque shows up this week in the mail. Otherwise I'm going to have to go in and sit in the office until they actually cut a cheque.

I have been going for years and even the view of the mountains is relaxing . Erin is a superb hygienist and further to that an awesome person ,which makes teeth cleaning a fun experience . The front waiting area, with Carol and Pam , simply adds to the positive visit . The only improvement would be a more varied magazine choice . National Geographic , Time , Macleans, and an automotive addition would be appreciated by this long time patient !

Came in for a routine cleaning and had a pleasant experience all around. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcome and Amy, my hygenist, was superb. It has taken me awhile to find a dental office I am comfortable with and now I found it. I did meet one of the dentist, but sadly I can not remember her name, but she was very friendly as well. The only downside was that I had a bit of a stiff neck afterward from my angle in the chair. (totally my fault, as I should have mentioned something at the time). Otherwise, was a pleasant experience, and I will be going back for sure. Will also recommend to anyone looking for a dentist :)

Best Dental Clinic! Just had my second lower wisdom tooth removed and again I had a great experience. First time I was with Dr. Lai and this time Dr. kan they are both amazing at their jobs. I have very high anxiety and both made sure I was very comfortable the whole time. All the staff are very friendly. 100% recommend this clinic!

All staff were excellent. I do not usually enjoy dental visits and I even took my 8 year old with adhd along and staff helped to entertain him while being gentle and aware of my own dental anxieties. Thank you for being a great dental experience to ease me back into wanting to go to the dentist :-D

I had an appointment with Dr Silver. I am very anxious when it comes to any dental procedures. She helped me stay calm and told me to focus on my breathing. My filling turned out to not be a straight forward filling. Dr Silver went over all of my options, she was amazing. I had never been to a dentist that said I was in charge.

I went in specifically for sedation as I have ++anxiety with any dental procedures. The staff we great and I had a wonderful experience in the office. Just a little disappointed I now have to see another dentist to be put under which will take more money off of my very little that I have through work. So I will have to had paid for two consultations out of my money for this year when with little more questions they could have told me that they don't do IV sedation, except with one dentist, which is what I need. This isn't what I understood from their site and looking at things. Needs to be much more clear. Cause now my money is going toward consults not the much needed dental work :-(

Three consecutive before-noon appointments where I was made to wait 30 to 45 minutes. The second visit they phoned and asked if I could come in 30 minutes early, and then I sat in the chair for 45 minutes. I left after 45 min the third time.... Don't know how long it could have been. No respect for my time. And then there's the hard sell for other services. Found another professional.

I was really unhappy with my overall experience at Macleod Trail Dental. When I first arrived, I found the parking no problem but could not locate the actual building where the office was located. When I called to ask for directions, the receptionist treated me very poorly and even put me on hold, leaving me standing in -12 degree weather feeling very frustrated. The hygenist was lovely and very understanding. I have autism and she made me feel very comfortable. When I asked reception about how they would handle my own three autistic children, they were very hesitant. Each of my children have severe anxiety and I was concerned about them missing an appointment due to a panic attack. This happens rarely and most dentists I have been to have been very understanding and wave any fee in the rare event that a panic attack might happen. Macleod Trail dental was reluctant to help and stated that they would rather we take our children to a pediatric dentist instead of putting their practice through any inconvenience. I have never run into this situation before. My children are high functioning and very rarely cause a problem. Having never met my kids, I felt it was unfair and quite honestly, discriminatory to turn them away. I have decided not to return to the clinic. The dentist and hygenist were both lovely but the face of reception and their attitude really put me off.

Unless you are looking to spend your money and never see your dentist then go ahead, but they love to send you off to specialists so your sure to pay the most and give you lots of options that you don't get to choose, they do and if you disagree and request the other option they act as if they never made that an option. Friendly till they actually have work they'd have to do. Too bad I was so excited I had finally found a dentist with a heart but just like most their hearts in the money.

The office is clean. I'll give them that.



I've been waiting since March 15th 2017 to be reimbursed for a $87 over payment. They can apparently only write a cheque or put it on a credit card...I paid debit.

Long story short...the cheque has apparently been 'put in the mail' twice. Not received either time.

Set up to have my significant other to come in to pick it up in person today. Even called to double check this morning. He drove all the way there to be told 'it was put in the mail this morning'

What kind of circus is going on in their office?

We'll see if this cheque shows up this week in the mail. Otherwise I'm going to have to go in and sit in the office until they actually cut a cheque.

Well the caption I loved It is not why I rate the practice five stars. I don't love going to a Dentist.

I was able to get into the Dentist Dr Tamminen in a emergency situation. At least an emergency to me.

I had a 11:10 am appt. I was in the Chair about 11:15.

The Dr. with his cheerful attitude and his sweet assistant put me at ease and about one hour later I had my troubles corrected.

I might add that I had been referred to this clinic by another one who I feel were not equipped and really didn't want to correct my problem. They did say let The Dr. at the other clinic do the rough work and we will do the balance.

Well the rough work as they called it and the other done was done here all within the time frame I stated above.

Thank you for the kind and quality service but I am not apologizing for not falling in love. Lol

My husband went to Macleod trail dental for the first time last week May 9 and 10 for an examination and cleaning. He had the exam and the bottom cleaned. The next day the top.

When he came home I asked him to show me his teeth. I said there white! He said Really!! I laughed and said go look. He did. He was so amazed!

His teeth were so black before and was told that they would always be this way.

I couldn't believe a dentist would tell him that. Not only that they took advantage of him when they scaled his teeth back in 2012. And charged him 2000.00 bucks. And his teeth were still black.

Now he has gone 2 more times to Macleod trail dental and his teeth are WHITE and he can't stop showing them off. The first text I got from him was saying my teeth are WHITE. Can u believe it? He has had the polishing done. And now when he comes to give me a kiss he isn't embarrassed by his teeth. At one time he was thinki g to have all of his health but black teeth pulled out and replaced with dentures. I said No! This my husband is 52 and does not have one cavity in his mouth. That amazes me.

Thank you so much Macleod trail dental for making my husband extremely happy.

Just finished my second dental appointment with Dr. Kan & her assistant, Linda. I am so impressed with Dr. Kan, she is so gentle and explains everything that she is doing. (I'm not use to that, my previous dentist was very rough!) I was in and out of my appointment within an hour. The staff are very friendly, gentle and personable. I would definitely recommend MacLeod Trail Dental for their caring staff, friendly service and reasonable rates.

I've only been here a few times and I now wouldn't go anywhere else. The front Staff are so friendly, they make the time to go through everything with you.

And having direct billing to insurance makes such a difference in get to g the treatment you need a.s.a.p.

I've been going to this office for around 8 years now. Dr ewart I found to be not so personal. And the new staff changed everything for the better.the office got a great new facelift too. They all know.my name and my 6 year old has been going there for 6 5 years now and they all know him by his name to.. Carol has been working with my insurance to get me a partial and they watch my annual limit so I don't go over .one year we somehow went over the limit. ( not my fault) and they took care of it. Recently though I had to pay a deposit for a dentist to come in to pull a tooth. Great guy he was fast and funny and easy on the eyes. But I paid cash and when I was suppose to get my deposit back they couldn't give me cash or on to my debt card. So they said I could pick up a check the next day as my son had an appointment. Well no check was there and the lady in the back room came out to check thingsout on the coputer about my depost.and I felt that she tried every angle to see if she could put it on money maybe owed. Turned out I owed 80cents and said she would mail out a check minus the 80cents.. so now I paid a cash deposit and have to wait for a check it's been 2 weeks now and no check.. I felt that I paid cash give me my cash back. ...i spend my limit every year love all the lady's there. Just that one issue but it was the lady behind the closed doors I feel didn't seem to realise it's my money and expected to be payed back at my appointment after all it was a deposit.. I still give 5 stars though..

I love Macleod Trail Dental! The staff are wonderful and so friendly! What’s amazing about it is the genuine staff and the level of service. Samantha the hygienist is so great and always takes the time to show me how to floss better to get into my food trap spots with my braces. She’s great at gently cleaning my teeth and is lovely to chat with.



I book myself and my sons appointment at the same time and the Erin the hygienist is fantastic! He loves going there! She’s so great with kids! She makes him even more excited about his dental hygiene! Dr. Silver is wonderful she’s so polite and very friendly always takes the time to answer my questions.

I highly recommend going to Macleod Trail Dental. I have been there before and for some reason I decided to visit a few Dental in the last few months to get their opinion within coming back to MacLeod Dental because what I have found they understand especially in my case the frustration I've been having for quite sometime and when talking to dr. Silver she told me that they will try their best to help me.
