Maclin Ford

My experience at Maclin Ford was absolutly a surprise.I wasn’t looking forward to buying another new truck especially since this was an insurance replacement deal and I thought I was going to get screwed. Overall it took 2 to 3 visits but in the end I am more happy than I ever could’ve imagined. I got a better truck and had no issues with any of the process from my salesman to the finance genius that finished the deal. I can honestly say that I thought this was going to be the last new truck I ever bought but now with their great service I think they’ve made a customer for life. This sounds corny as hell but it’s the honest truth.

Everyone was incredibly helpful during the entire process. Brendan was able to find me the perfect truck, Darrell made it happen within my budget and Candace was a huge help in explaining financing to me. I highly recommend checking them out, I had a lovely experience.

What an awesome service department!! I brought in my Ford F-150 the other day and dealt with Jean the service adviser there. What an amazing and friendly guy. He was so awesome to deal with from the beginning to the end. Didn't pressure me on any up sales, told me about some of the concerns I have and the ones that I can wait on. Was nice enough to pull my vehicle up front. If you looking for a Ford dealer in Calgary I highly recommend this place and for you to go see Jean !!

Recently purchased a Ford Explorer and we are thrilled! As for our experience...awesome would be the word I would use. Right from my first inquiry to driving home with my Explorer it was great. Lennie was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Darrell went out of his way for us. Kris in finance was super! No pressure from anyone...just wanting to be sure we were happy. I must say everyone we spoke to whether they were directly involved or not made us feel welcome! Great Job Maclin!!

Since management changed..I'm finding the service department is a little less than what is used to be...

The people at Maclin Ford are Incredible!

I was called by name by at least three separate people whom I had never met, was welcomed in, offered coffee and made to feel as if I was a person not a number or potential sale.

The people at Maclin Ford (Brad,Tanis and Mark) and at Ford Canada (Rachel ) have unknowingly made a difference in our lives (and we aren’t even Ford clients (yet)). We felt respected and genuinely cared about! THAT alone was enough for me to say to EVERYONE:

“Hey you…yeah you over there, you should buy a Ford from these guys…they’re awesome!)

After the exceptional treatment I received at Maclin Ford, I felt everyone should know how we were treated and level of professionalism we received!

Today I bought a fusion from Maclin, I had an unbelievable experience. I was greeted with smiles and friendly people who genuinely wanted me to leave with a smile on my face. Not only did Daryl and Neil do their best to stay within my budget but they made sure I was driving away in something I'd be safe in, they took their time to get to know my life and my needs. Not often have I walked into a dealership and had two people treat me like a person instead of a dollar sign and today, I can honestly say I have a different opinion.

I purchased a car from Maclin ford and my sales person was great. Found me what I wanted and for a great price. But the service after the fact through the finance department is terrible. They didn't set up everything they were supposed to like direct deposit, charging me late charges. Told me no upfront fees ,then called the next day and said sorry they I forgot I do have to pay something. And I have been trying for 3 weeks to take off an extra warranty I don't need and no one is trying to help me what so ever. Definitely will not be shopping here again and I advise to others not to either.

We had a situation where we needed to get access into a vehicle that was traded in on Thursday. It was Sunday. The dealership is closed on Sundays. Critical paper work was left in the glove box hidden under the owners manual. We called our salesman Chris on Sunday morning interrupting his family time. He in turn involved the Manager, Darryl, who had to retrieve the dealership keys from another resource from the dealership. He then drove down on his family time to help us gain access to the glove box..... wow....amazing customer service to help us retrieve critical paper work for a flight to the USA today, Sunday. Love you guys.

Went in with a very specific need, budget and idea of what would fit those constraints with no intention of purchasing from a dealership (had already seen plenty or private sales).

Was met by Mark, who understood that we didn't want or need to negotiate, and he was able to find us a used vehicle that was almost perfect (when shopping used, you have to make concessions or you'll forever be looking). The vehicle even exceeded some expectations, and we were able to knock off more than anticipated in order to remain in our financial comfort zone.

For the financing side, I wasn't completely comfortable with going this route for personal reasons I won't state here, but Steven walked us through different options without pushing anything on us when we chose to decline. A little misunderstanding surrounding registration/insurance (we purchased on a Saturday, and our broker was closed) meant a couple days delay from our agreement for final signatures, but we were given a dealer plate for the interim and Steven remedied the situation with the registration on his end.

Purchased my second vehicle with Graham and Mike at Maclin. These two are the sole reason Maclin will have our continued business from our company.
These guys made me feel like a million bucks every time I showed up. Even knowing I am super picky on what I like. Listened to everything I wanted, pushed nothing on me.

5 star out of any dealer in town. Hands down.

Paperwork and plus plus's was a breeze with Candace. Possibly the best experience in that department I ever experienced. Super straight forward easy to understand explanations and zero pressure on the extras.

Hard to find a more well put together team. Keep up the good work, see you on truck 3,4,5,6....

Maclin Ford employees went above and beyond to get me into the used Grand Caravan I picked out from their website. Justin was the sales manager and Chris was my sales person who we enjoyed a couple of laughs together. They acted professionally and that's what I expect from a well ran business. Will send some friends to see you guys soon.

I purchased a new car and had a perfect experience. The service department has done a complete 360 from the previous years. Keep up the good work. I purchased my Ford Fiesta (2015) from Maclin Ford in Calgary, Alberta. I only buy Ford cars and always purchase from Maclin Ford because of the amazing service/sales and financial expertise.

My financial adviser was Derek Dobbs and my experience working with him was outstanding. He was courteous, knowledgeable and was very professional. My questions were answered in a manner I completely understood. I thought I would have to wait days for some of my questions to be answered but he returned my call with the information I needed the same day.

I didn't feel pressured by the sales staff. They were honest, flexible and very knowledgeable.

The service department is top notch. I am recognized when I leave my car for service. I have been dealing with Greg in the Service Department for years. I have never encountered a problem.

I strongly recommend Maclin Ford for new or used cars. If I have any friends looking to buy in the future I would highly recommend Maclin Ford. So many thanks to Maclin and their wonderful staff who are always courteous, efficient and friendly. So I give Maclin Ford 10 out of 10.

It may not be the first thing that come's to mind when you go to buy a used car, but integrity is what I experienced today. Everyone was open, honest and direct. And, I landed a very good deal.
