Employee locked the doors after hours with an illiterate sign saying come back after 5 minutes. I waited 10 minutes and still no one opened the store.

Staff are friendly. Store is normally very clean. It's convenient for grabbing little goodies, and gasoline. Post office inside.

There is one male cashier here who is very rude. First time I was in I politely asked if there was any deal on the beef jerky I was getting and he yelled "you see sign, you see sign, then no deal" today I went for ice cream and a hot dog. This same man asked me at the till is it a hot dog or smokie and I said that I'm pretty sure it is a hot dog. He said no that's a smokie and I said okay. Went outside and took a bite and it was clearly a hot dog as a smokie has a very distinct taste. I went back in and told them it was a hot dog but he kept insisting it was a smokie and said what should I do about it. He eventually gave me a dollar from the till. At this point that's fine and mistake corrected until I made the error of going back to buy 5 cent candies and chips and a few other things. I paid and went outside but felt something was off. Did the math twice and came up a dollar short every time. The only way this could happen is if he charged me an extra dollar on my 5 cent candies to make back the dollar he gave me. I was angry now so I took the loonie from my pocket walked in the door and slammed it on the counter and left. So be careful when you go there to not get nickel and dimed where they think you won't notice and just plain get ripped off. If i ever decide to go here again it would only be for the ice cream. At least they got that going for them.

Small neighbourhood strip mall easy to get in and has what you need when you are in a hurry!!
