Magsbootcamps Description

Let me tell you a little bit about myself first. My name is Mag Turple and I LOOOOOOOVE to workout. It hasn't always been this way. I used to weigh 220lbs and looked at exercise as a waste of time (too much work to bother). Then I had a baby! ! ! Well, let me tell you. . . . when they say it changes everything they really mean it. None of your body parts look the same after that. I remember when my son was 4 months old, I stood in front of one of those full size mirrors. . . naked. That was the turning point for me. There was no way that any ones body should have looked like that. I vowed to bring my body back. Little by little, and with a lot of hard work, I proved to myself that anything is possible. I changed my life and somewhere along the way I fell in love with the new me. . . .
When you love doing something so much that you feel like you will explode from excitement. . . . . . . what do you do?????
YOU SHARE THAT PASSION with everyone you meet! ! ! ! !
And that is how Mag's Bootcamps were born in 2009. I became a certified AFLCA instructor and Jazzercise instructor and really dove into this fitness world.
It started with a few friends working out together and grew into a way of life for all of us and some. I've been told that my passion is contagious and that I am really good at motivating. . . . who knew? (thank you everyone! )
Every year we have more and more people joining us and I keep coming up with new, fun ideas for workouts.
By far the most popular of all are my OUTDOOR BOOTCAMPS.
I use several beautiful Red Deer parks to create workouts that are challenging but tons of fun. We run stairs, flip tires, maneuver wheelbarrows around obstacles, pull sleds and so much more. I ALWAYS participate fully in all of our classes and NEVER stand on the sidelines barking orders. That is what makes my classes different from others. We all work as a team, motivating each other and supporting those who need it. I believe that everyone needs a strong, healthy body so my focus is on educating my participants on ways to achieve that.
My bootcamps are designed to build lean and mean machines! ! ! ! Heehee, well maybe not too mean.
The indoor classes (since we do have 6 months of winter. . . ugh) are just as much fun and range from dancing to weight circuits. I use my space to its full potential whether I have just a 10x10 room or a huge gym to work with. Besides my own classes, I teach at RDC and in Blackfalds at the new Abby Fitness Complex.
What else can I say??? ( a lot, trust me)
The bottom line is that if you are:
