ABOUT MAJOR PAWS:
Major Paws Pets Services, is a small business aimed at putting pets first. Our animals are always there for us in our time of need. When we are sad, they are the shoulder we cry on. When we are happy, their tails never fail to wag. They listen to our problems even when no one else will. They love us unconditionally and whole-heartedly. We are focused on helping you maintain your dog’s health, happiness and vitality. Our dog walks and boot-camps provide essential exercise and socialization for your dog, as well as peace of mind knowing your best friend is in a safe and positive environment.
We are Pet First Aid CERTIFIED and we only use positive reinforcement practices.
WHY IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOUR DOG GETS THE PROPER AMOUNT OF EXERCISE:
A regular walk is vitally important for your pet's health. Obesity in pets is associated with a number of medical complaints including osteoarthritis, cardiovascular disease, liver disease and insulin resistance.
Most dogs need to be walked at least once each day, though some dogs, particularly very active dogs, may require more. The breed of dog you have, as well as its level of fitness and age, will also determine how long and how vigorous your walk should be. A walk can make a dog very happy. They love to check out the sights and smells. A dog that doesn't receive sufficient exercise can easily become bored or destructive.
SERVICES AND RATES:
PACK WALKS: Our hour long PACK WALK ensures that your pet receives a full hour of off leash exercise; this type of walk is beneficial as it also provides your pet with socialization with other dogs and people. $18. 00
SOLO WALKS: Our hour long SOLO WALK is aimed at senior dogs, puppies and dogs that prefer to spend one on one time with a walker. If your dog has aggression or temperament issues this would also be the best walk for them. We focus on catering to your dogs needs. $20. 00
MAJOR PAWS BOOT-CAMP: This is a jam-packed 2 hours of walking, playing, fetching, running and jumping. This is perfect for an active dog that would like to burn of excess energy. It is also a great program for dogs that need to shed a few pounds! $35. 00 group $45. 00 individual
****We also offer pet sitting services to Dogs, Cats, Birds, Rabbits, etc. Rates are variable. *****
Other services include but are not limited to:
• Administration of Meds
• Bathing, Basic Grooming and Nail Clipping
• Pooper Scooping /Litter Box Cleaning
• Long Term Boarding
