I am an Edmonton-based makeup artist and hair stylist that came to Canada in 2009 from India. My personal philosophy is that every face is like a blank canvas where I can perform my artistry. Each time I begin the process is exhilarating for me with anticipation of creating a new work of art from each and every face. Understanding the importance of fundamental color theory, I always keep the basics in mind while knowing how to play with the balance of light and shadow to create those highlights and contours that create a dynamic look for any occasion. Makeup by Riti is all about enhancing your beauty not only from the outside but also from the inside. I always converse with my clients and make sure that while I am applying their makeup, the beauty that they notice formulating on the outside starts to radiate from within simultaneously.
