I've been going to Mane House of Hair for a few years now. Justin has given me bangs, chopped my long hair into a bob, made dramatic color changes, and styled my hair for several events - and every time I come out looking fantastic. I also have had my brows and makeup done by Sofia who is excellent. The assistants and staff are lovely and welcoming. This is the only salon in Calgary that I know of with cutting edge techniques straight from New York Fashion Week!

I recommend Mane to all my friends. Justin always ensures that my hair is beautiful and trendy, but still "me" and easy to manage. I always have great service at Mane, the whole team is fantastic.

I was looking for a new stylist because my previous one took more than 5 hours to get a cut and colour done! This salon came highly recommended and after following its Instagram I noticed they go to New York Fashion Week alot. I was booked in with Justin and his consultation was the most thorough consultation ever. We not only talked about what colour and hair style was best for my face shape and skin tone, but we also talked about proper hair washing (to reduce receding hair lines), proper hair ties, and proper hair tools (to reduce damage). I've been seeing Justin now for 2 years and I've honestly never received so many compliments on my hair! I even have more baby hairs in the front hair line! You can tell Justin and his team really care about healthy hair, keeping you in style, and creating a really friendly and relaxing space. Shout out to Katie who did my Christmas hair on very short notice!

Mane House of Hair is the best Salon I have been to. The owner, Justin works hard to make sure to stay on top of current trends, and is always friendly. The staff is passionate about their work, and makes it a joy to go get a haircut.

They are great there. I have a 1 year old and really needed a hair cut and have no one to babysit. I brought her in with me and they were awesome with her. One of the guys that worked there that wasn't busy came and played with her while I got my haircut. Verna is an amazing hair dresser and knows how to do men and women hair.

Colton was great. He took a lot of time to make sure my hair cut was prefect. The location is surprisingly big with at least 10 chairs. They've been around since 1996. It may be overlooked because Sobeys is the anchor store / focal point in this plaza.

Amazing people working out of Angles Strathcona! the Last time got my hair cut i saw Colton, he was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and best of all awesome to talk to. a true beauty among stylists.

My review is, not surprisingly, going to line up with the other bad reviews. They don't listen to what you ask for and give you their interpretation of what you want. I brought in a picture and what they gave me wasn't even close. Not the same cut or color. When I expressed this I was told that I got what they thought would be best. The owner has no problem explaining to you what you want either and even though I was very upset and did not like what I got at all they had no options to fix it or make it right. After asking around as I live in the area I found out that nobody likes this salon so I don't know where all the good reviews are coming from. I wished I had found that out first. If you want great hair take the five minute drive to Form on 85th. Best hair salon and stylists. They even fix bad hair days.
