We moved into our home October 2017 and it has been amazing so far. It has been great customer service from anyone I have dealt with. Lisa made sure the buying and building process as smooth as possible and was very thorough with every detail. Since moving in I have been in close contact with Erin for any deficiencies I may have noticed and she is always prompt to send me an email back answering any big or small questions, setting up service appointments etc. This was my first build and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. We knew that if we were to build our dream home, we wanted it to be beautiful! with a nice yard.

We went to the Graydon Hill community and were impressed with the lot sizes and the lovely show home.

This home will be very special to us as this is our first build together and first home purchase together. We will be building a family in this home and making a life here.

Lisa has been very helpful throughout the whole process. We have been able to make many modifications.

We have recently been going to the suppliers to pick out some of our interior for our home and we haven't been overly impressed with the choices. Are having to upgrade things and in the end will be paying more then we had originally wanted but this will be our home for many years to come and want to ensure we are happy with our choices.

We knew going in that there would be delays. But this process, or lack of progress, along with lack of communication has been a huge disappointment to both of us.



I’ll start off from the beginning of our story;



We were in on the pre sale, so we knew it was going to be a bit of a wait to get into our home.



We were told that the roads would be built by August 15th, 2017, but that wasn’t finished until the end of November. And we understood that it was the developer not marcson, and we were 100% fine with that.



The whole time marcson reps were saying a 6-8 month build time... so when they finally broke ground in February we were pretty excited!



April 16th the framing was done, and May 24th we had our electrical appointment in the house and the work was complete by June 2nd.



And that brings us up to date as of today, August 5th. That means that absolutely nothing has been done to the house in 2 months.



We live near by the area and go by often and nothing has been done to any of the marcson houses in that row, approx 8 homes.



When we try and get updates they talk to us like we are stupid.



This is very frustrating as we see every other builder in that are making progress on a daily basis.



How can a company not have a schedule for the build of their houses?



I would never recommend using this company. Go with another builder if you can and avoid this poorly managed and ran company.



Thanks for making this build a horrible experience Marcson, it’s been a blast.

If you want to wait for over a year for them to build you a house this is the place to go. We signed on end of 2016 in December and still they won’t give us a possession date. This whole experience has been nothing but a frustrating headache.

It came to my knowledge that some of the sales representative of this company advice the customers No to be Hire or call their Realtor because they as customers CANNOT get the same promotional prices if they get represented by a Realtor. This is a misleading the client; Buyers has a disadvantage not knowing the market, their real negotiation options, and the buying process, I work with so many builders and they are cooperative, in conclusion, this builder does not defend the client best interest but the builder and that is one of the reasons. And that brings us up to date as of today, August 5th. That means that absolutely nothing has been done to the house in 2 months.



We live near by the area and go by often and nothing has been done to any of the marcson houses in that row, approx 8 homes.



When we try and get updates they talk to us like we are stupid.



This is very frustrating as we see every other builder in that are making progress on a daily basis.



How can a company not have a schedule for the build of their houses?



I would never recommend using this company. Go with another builder if you can and avoid this poorly managed and ran company.



Thanks for making this build a horrible experience Marcson, it’s been a blast.

If you want to wait for over a year for them to build you a house this is the place to go. We signed on end of 2016 in December and still they won’t give us a possession date. This whole experience has been nothing but a frustrating headache.

I had been asked by some of the Marcson Home’s Employee to explain the reason for my qualification of 1/5:

I have been a Realtor for more than 12 years in Alberta and Ontario, our job is defending the best interest of the client/customer. It came to my knowledge that some of the sales representative of this company advice the customers No to be Hire or call their Realtor because they as customers CANNOT get the same promotional prices if they get represented by a Realtor. This is a misleading the client; Buyers has a disadvantage not knowing the market, their real negotiation options, and the buying process, I work with so many builders and they are cooperative, in conclusion, this builder does not defend the client best interest but the builder and that is one of the reasons.
