My name is Mardell and I paint. I create my pieces on a whim. When I first began selling my pieces I set out with a goal for each one, a design or an idea. I soon realized that it didn't really work for me. As much as I have ideas that I would love to get on a canvas, or old piece of wood as so many of mine are; I paint what I feel. There are times that I do things that you can tell what they are but honestly I am an abstract thinker and painter and that works for me. I know that my "art" isn't for everyone and that's okay with me, some day there will be someone out there that my pieces speak too. For the time being I am going to keep doing what I do because I love it. Painting is my passion, art is my paradise and being creative is who I am.
