About our Apiary:
We run a small Apiary just outside of Athabasca alongside the Athabasca Riverbanks. The bees are kept in traditional hives, as natural as can be, with no chemical treatments used. We exclusively sell raw honey. To keep all the health benefits in the honey, we absolutely do not use heat during extraction. The honey is only strained, which keeps healthy propolis, wax and pollen particles in the honey.
At our Apiary we like to keep the carbon footprint as small as we can and therefor use glass jars for the honey as much as possible. These can be reused in your own home, recycled or if you are local, you can come back with them and get them refilled.
