RD News today

Our facility was one of the main businesses that were involved with the “armed person with shot gun” as reports stated, but the person actually had a rifle with scope, wearing a helmet that he got from breaking into my enclosed trailer!
This individual spent over an hour in our yard, starting at 5:30am to break into our car hauler, our 2 seacans! The person damaged the back of an employee’s trailer door, when they couldn’t enter that way he crawled onto the roof and entered ...the trailer and Motorhome through the roof vent and damaged everything while looking for who knows what!
At 6:40am he pried our shop door open and went though trucks, cabinets, basically anything he could! At 6:44 he disconnected our video surveillance system so we have no more recorded data so we aren’t 100% sure what time he left and everything he took!
But we know after he disconnected our system he went into our main building into inventory and took items, and left a pile on the floor!
Our GM arrived at 7:10 and went into shop to notice the inventory on the floor, noticed the break in damage and called the RCMP.
The troubling part was we had an employee arrive and was working in her office at 6am!
This has to be a priority to get this person behind bars as he is armed and dangerous so if you recognize him or see him please call the RCMP!

First week of OTS curling. No one fell down or hurt themselves or others! We didn't win but I can say we didn't suck! We made it six ends before we gracefully gave up. Good job Dave Windrim, Alf Moore, and Zack Lachance! Wonder what muscles will hurt to tomorrow? Lol

Ray Lelond has joined our team as Sales Manager, and will be based out of our Red Deer location!
Ross Mather has joined our GP office as outside salesman!
... Michele Pybus has joined our GP office as office assistant!
Sharon Lamb has rejoined our team as AR assistant based out of Red Deer.
Kent Monthomery has joined our Red Deer team as inside sales!
Leanne Strabel has joined our team as AP assistant based out of Red Deer!
We value all our customer’s, vendors and employees and we are excited with all the changes happening here at MAS-Pro.

We had the privilege today to be a sponsor at the RDI golf tourney and a lot of money was raised for the Ronald McDonald House.
Would like to thank Zack Lachance and Alfred Moore for cooking food, and meeting people and for Zack to hit balls to raise additional funds.
Also we had 2 teams golfing and we would like to thank all the guys that played on the 2 MAS-Pro teams, Darren Weir, Scott G, Kim, Scott M were on one team and Darren S, Blaine R, Stacey and myself were on the o...ther team.
The weather wasn’t great but the cause we were raising funds for made it worth while to be in the cold so thanks to everyone that participated!
RDI did a great job and we are happy to work closely with them on a daily bases, so thanks for including MAS-Pro in these events!
Can’t wait to participate next year!

We have added this new rig to our fleet so we can better service our customers!

Thank you to everyone who attended our first Westerner Days breakfast in July 2018 that donated food and cash for the Red Deer Food Bank! CPP Distribution and Alberta Pipe Fittings were very generous! $1200 was raised from the breakfast and Mas-Pro matched those donations. $2400 was donated as well as all the non perishable food!

We all looking to add the following positions to our growing company!
Red Deer: Shop Coordinator : full time position Monday to Friday. Experience in oilfield preferred.... Not looking for someone for short term, meaning a field person person, prefer someone that wants to learn and work there way up into different position’s. Wage will depend on experience.
Grande Prairie: Shop Coordinator: full time position (same as above) Inside Sales: full time, oilfield experience is a must, also knows computers well, and is good with dealing with people.

We had a great turn out today for our Westerner Days Pan Cake breakfast! A big thanks to everyone that stopped by, and also thanks to all that helped!
We will be announcing tomorrow the money that we raised for the food bank as well!
So thanks again for everyone’s assistance for making it a great success!

GP open house windstorm!
