Quick service, good food, friendly staff and clean facility. Would definitely recommend and go back again!

Oh God..this place is ridiculously amazing..we drove for 5hrs from Fort McMurray and did some stops before going to Max's..they got everything we needed for a descent meal.....but wait..im not done yet..guess what,i almost order a couch after for myself because i couldn't even get up,these guys filled up my tummy..i would say i strongly recommend this place to my friends..food is freshly prepared..i cheer up for Grace specifically for doing a great job..guys keep it up..

If missing some of the filipino foods back home... for simple dine-in or to go food...for small and big parties... i would recommend this restaurant.

I'd like to say thank you to Max's Restaurant in Edmonton for the great experience I had during a Party held there, and with the warm welcome of the friendly hostess Mercy Mendoza who set the room perfectly done. Really very accommodating and the food... Woah! So delicious, a Filipinos-based style... ....so yummy. I Want to go there EVRYDAY� ��GOD bless to all of there Max's Restaurant

Food are amazingly yummy as always. My 4x visit. From 2 hours drive. Highly recommend to all my fellow KABABAYAN. If you are celebrating or just want to treat your family and friends.MAX'S RESTAURANT is the best. All menus are the best. Love the small portion of dessert after. Love the halo- halo but no more room after meal.Service is ok . Just come before 5 pm to avoid long line up. Over all it's delicious.!!!Thank You for the awesome chefs.!

We got married yesterday May 13, 2017 at Max's Restaurant Edmonton. We love the set up so much!!!

We thank Ate Mercy for such beautiful day. The decorations were wonderful and exactly what we wanted and the food was great and everyone was happy with all of it and they took special care to look after the needs of some of our guests who had allergies.

We are from Indonesia, we enjoyed the dinuguan , pretty similar with one of our foods from back home. We came on Friday evening 8:30 pm, service was quick, foods are great.. took the leftover and still enjoyed them for the following lunch at home. Looking forwaed to try the chicken

The food was excellent, our server was EXceptional! Grace took time to explain the dishes and to recommended favourites! Size of the portions relative to price was disappointing but the overall experience was good.

Overall experience:Came all the way from Grand Prairie make sure to stop by at Max's Restaurant for our dinner.It was Sunday the Restaurant are so full with very long que , waiting time for the table alone is a good 30mins. We are still static this time knowing that we could enjoy Pilipino food and all of this people wants a taste of it away from home.Time for us to be call and lead at the table upon ordering took 15mins waiting for the server assign to our table by this time as we seat in the waiting lounge we already have an idea on what to order to make our life and our servers life easier.We are all joking that the food will take an hour since its really crowded trying to make time enjoyable while waiting doing our selfie/picture taking since its very rare for us to visit the Resto.35mins later come our Soup of the day finally...thought its the whole food order but definely a No just for us to have something while waiting and i think its ok another 20mins comes our Set Meal and yes we are starving by this time and after a few pic taken we all indulge with the food being serve...as we say it "Galit galit muna sa taong gutom"���...

Food Wise they still keep the same standard the Max's Restaurant in the Philippines are offering so its a 🖒🖒🖒; one of our colleauges order for Laing but end up with Binagoongan Bicol Express so no need to return and argue about it but i find it too toasted or too crunchy too overcooked ( maybe add up more sauce next time for the Bicol express ).

Working in the same Food and Beverages Services its quite understable specially busy time...KuDos to all the Staff (Back of the house/Front of the house) that work hard that day to give as much as enjoyable experience to everyone.I know how tiring it can be!

There's still room for improvement maybe we came in the time and day thats its really busy thats why we didnt enjoy it as much as we could for the waiting time itself.

Food was really good, service was somewhat lacking though.

Pretty mediocre food. Came in for lunch ordered the teaser appetizers and a beef sisig and I chicken combo. The waitress forgot to order the appetizer and the marinated chicken was very dry. I didn't mind the sisig. I can't say I would recommend this place or be returning myself.

Its my wedding day on may 28 its supposed to be a happy day esp. For me but its not because this restaurant just gave as stress we will never do any event to this restaurant nor either recommend it to my friends....the reservation is a buffet accdg to the contract that we sign ..its totally a bad experience and a wrong decision to the an event here.. bad experience at all i must say..they said that their will be 3 server...but no one is inside at the hall to help us...no drinks are served for our visitor...we dont have choice but to ask my sister to do it and serve drinks for our guests...they didnt even refill our buffet ..i am stress because every now and then my friends will tell me we have a problem because theres no food in the buffet..even the label of the foods are labeled wrong...the soup wasnt served but it was supposed to serve first right.?.the management promise to me and to my husband is" relax maan and sir its ur wedding we will handle evrything.".but it didnt happened..we are so disappointed...and unhappy...when my husband pay the bill he complain and told them that we are not treated well and we didnt get the service that we pay for ...the management told them..they are short of staff..like really?like it doesnt make sense...because if they cannot do it so why did maxs restaurant accept too much events or reservations right? ...their restaurant is open for public they know and they have another event..at least they ask someone to do overtime to work on that they..they have to prioritise their customer...and the quality of their service...dont blame your customer...but instead know how can you improve ur service...all of our guests our complaining that there is no food...they travel from us ...calgary ..whitecourt...swanhills..lethbridge..3 to 4 hrs travel just to come on our wedding..tapos ginutom lang namin sila..we paid ur service but still the bad feedback is on us ....we decide for a restaurant because we dont like to stress ourselves to cook..but we made a mistakes doing it in maxs...and all of our visitors ...they told us that they will never do any event in this restaurant...they will never recommend it...

They mess up my wedding...why because until now..im still getting calls from my friend..why there is no food..why there is no drinks...i keep apologizing for my guess until now..but what are they consequences?they got the money that they want thats it...

I really wanted to like this place . Have drove by many times taking my mother home so we decided to give it a try and we were starving. Service started out pretty good but then he got busy with the party and other tables and didn't ask us how our food was. My mother and I both ordered their specialty crispy deep-fried chicken with two sides. The chicken was crispy but tasted old and was hard to get down. .I ordered garlic fried rice with mine and rice noodles was disappointed that there wasn't an option for vegetables or salad . Mother ordered french fries and chow mein the french fries were hard as rock and cold and also old I don't know why they couldn't of made her some fresh ones her chow mien was ok . When we flag down our waiter for the bill and let him know about the meals he just frowned and gave us our bill . Will not be returning anytime soon . Had to come home and make something to eat because I was so hungry. Max's chicken needs to step up their game because I can't see them surviving long serving food this bad . �

Food was fine but service needs a lot of improvement. Waited for 45 mins before they served our food. The table next to us got served first even though our orders were taken ahead of them. A bowl of complimentary soup was served, seeing that we were getting anxious. We go there because it is a Filipino restaurant but unfortunately after this latest experience, we will think twice about going there. The management should consider adding more staff. I noticed our server was taking care of a lot of customers. Really poor service management!!! Also, improve the look of your place. A mop was standing right by the waiting area. Not nice.

We are from calgary and we went there because for ice castles. after that we went to max's there was a long line of wait. After we where seated there was a long wait for the food also. Some of the food that we wanted they run out, there bicol express was parang binaggoongan with talong, pancit canton sunog ang noddles the other food that we wanted was not taken out from our bill.
