We purchased our Toyota Tacoma from Mayfield 4 years ago. The sales process was easy and pleasant and we would definitely buy another vehicle from this dealership.

We have only had it serviced at the dealership and the service department is amazing. I always remark how consistent and great they are. My vehicle is always ready at or before the time it was promised, the loaner I booked in advance is always available without issue, the bill is always what I was quoted and the service advisors are friendly and efficient. Over 4 years, to be that consistent is a remarkable achievement.

Definitely recommend this dealership.

Thank you for the awesome service, Mayfield Toyota. My sister and I came from out of town this weekend knowing what we were looking for and we left as two happy, vehicle-owning customers. Great experience with Duncan, Mike L and Celia. Both Mike and Celia helped me get out of the dealership quickly today so that I could make the trek back to Fort McMurray and still have time to tuck my little ones into bed this evening. Thank you!

I recently bought a 2018 Tacoma (TRD sport, manual) from Mike Linterman. By far the most helpful and reasonable sales person I have ever dealt with at a Toyota dealership. I drove from Red Deer to buy from Mike because no one in my area was even close to as helpful and fair as Mike was. I went to a total of 6 different dealerships and Mayfield will be selling me more Toyota’s in the future. I highly recommend Mike Linterman at Mayfield Toyota to anyone shopping for a new Tacoma.

I originally bought a 2009 Corolla from Mayfield Toyota and appreciated the great service I received. All the details, like the hot chocolate and granola bars during servicing, and even the pretty ladies room. I didn't think about it at the time, but the small touches really added to the experience.

In 2012, my wonderful little car was caught up in a flood in one of our freak "Once in a Century" Edmonton storms that we seem to get every few years. It was a write-off and it was time to go car shopping again.

Well, I looked all over for a car to replace that 2009 Corolla, thinking I wanted something different. As I went to various other dealerships, I saw filthy bathrooms, and very poor service from other salespeople. Exhausted, I went back to Mayfield Toyota and when I tried out the new Corollas I knew immediately I had the right car.

I look forward to my visits for service (different hot chocolate machine but still tasty) and always smiles from service, sales, clerks and their greeters and shuttle drivers.

I feel safe there and never feel like I am being hustled for unneeded repairs or upgrades unnecessarily. I plan on staying a loyal customer.

I just recently purchased a brand new Toyota 4Runner from Mayfield Toyota. As I already knew exactly what I wanted, I appreciated the no bull experience I had. Mayfield Toyota's team was very quick to respond to my inquiries during the buying process and they were more than willing to work with me in terms of the vehicle I was looking to purchase, gave me a fair price and ensured all my accessories were installed before my pick up. They even provided me with one of their vehicles to boot around town while I had additional work done to my vehicle because I had forgotten to add a few finishing touches prior to arriving at the dealership.

Mayfield's staff were very accommodating to my time frame as I was travelling from out of town and was only going to be in Edmonton for a very specific date. Although they had an event where a portion of their staff and vehicles were off site, I felt that I was adequately taken care of.

Their team is knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, honest, did not waste any of my time, friendly and willing to work with you.

I haven't used their parts or service departments yet but I am more than pleased with my experience with the sales team.

Thanks again to Kerry Rambie & Andrew Sova for the wonderful experience; and their management team that made things happen in the background, Pasquale Tisi, Jodi Fournier, Drew Hazlett and Andrew Dye.

I have purchased 3 Toyota Tundra's from this dealership. Harry Pon has been my salesperson for the last 2 transactions and I highly recommend him. He sold me my last Tundra while I was getting an oil change. Seamless and pain free dealing. The Service Advisor is Dee Pflughaupt and she is a super star, she has a sunny disposition and always is eager to help you out. She is honest, reliable and very dedicated to her job. Love dealing with this dealership. A five star dealership all around.

I am a senior who lives 60 kms from Mayfield Toyota. I bought my RAV4 there 4 years ago. Each new season we get in touch for an oil change, they list recommended maintenance based on computer generated algorythems for my make, year and model, then leave me alone to decide what I want. Many people have complained about pushy sales people who recommend service that is not needed; but at this service center, I have never felt pressured nor been treated badly. More often than not I can not afford new parts unless its urgent; so they just smile and do my oil change. Their service to me has always been efficient, polite, respectful and quick. I love Toyota!! :)

I am Extremely Happy with the Buying process at Mayfield Toyota. We have dealt with many of the salesman in the last 5 years. Some of the people who have helped us in Sales is : Gary Lee, Sukh Chahal, Casey Curran, Perry, Hassan Fawaz(used sales). They have all been fabulous. We really feel like family coming and doing our Maitainence at Mayfield Toyota. And they provide some of the Best prices for servicing your Toyota in Edmonton. Bob Thompson and Dee Pflughaupt have always treated us with the uttermost professionalism and respect while we are waiting for our car to be serviced, and even sometimes even remember us by name. Hope you continue to provide a great customer experience to your new future customers. I have recommended Mayfield Toyota to many of my friend, families and coworkers over the past few Years. And I will continue to do so. Thanks to Casey Curry for Helping my friend buy a 2018 Toyota 4 Runner Pro. Casey was very professional, and very courteous to our needs. He is very knowledgeable in trucks. My only criticism is that some of the Service advisors don't take their job seriously when it comes to customer service as well as DEE and Bob. Something they don't show enough respect to the customers, and brush simple questions off in arrogance. I think that is my only criticism. And I think some of those people need to give more attention to their customers first.

Buy or lease from here. Go see Mike Linterman. Absolutely THE BEST customer service you could ask for. Above and beyond expectations and they absolutely 100% give you THE BEST price!!!!

But seriously I shopped around and no one comes close to these guys. Above all else they treat you well...and that's really the best part. No stress no hassles no gimmicks no cheesy sales tactics! Honesty from start to finish.

Car buying can be overwhelming. Its not here. And definitely not with Mike.

I'll send everyone I know here. Just to be treated well!

As a woman going to buy a vehicle by myself for the first time, I was nervous. My salesman was Bill and he could not have made the experience any easier and stress free. He went over the 4Runner models with me and let me chose which I wanted. He went over the SUV from top to bottom. He did so again when I picked it up. He took me on a test drive and made sure I knew how it handled on ice, snow pack and dry roads. I can't praise Bill and the team at mayfield Toyota enough. I would deal with both him and the dealership again in a heartbeat. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone. I also want to point out I got a very fair price and a lot of free stuff thrown in. I would give this dealer a 10 star rating if that was an option.

User

I had a great purchasing experience with This location. I was hoping to get into a new vehicle ASAP and they were able to have my C-HR ready the next business day. I was thrilled at the ease of process and clarity from the salesperson.

However, I have had this vehicle for a little under one month and have been contacted four times by different people asking about my experience. I have also been sent multiple emails asking similar questions and asking to complete a survey. The calls are quite annoying as they are asking the same questions repeatedly.

Had I not been followed up with so many times I would have had a 5 star review, each call has made the experience slightly less pleasurable,

User

Brought my '09 Venza in for an oil change knowing nothing about the dealership. Turns out they don't have the drive thru quick lube bays I'm used to. Instead, you check your car in like it's being service, then they whisk your car away. You're directed to one of two customer waiting areas (leather seating, coffee machine). The customer wifi is great, the wait for the oil change was approx 1.5hrs, and the staff treated me very nicely when I asked for some information on a new car. If you're in a hurry, go somewhere else. If you have the time, it's a nice place to wait 😁

*Mostly Satisfied with Trade-In, Unhappy With Service at the End of the Deal*

I went in to the dealership on September 7 after receiving the generic letter in the mail of being invited to the "private event" in which they would supposedly offer me an increased trade-in value towards a new vehicle. Instead of upgrading, I felt I could do with downgrading to a smaller vehicle for the time being. I was initially underwhelmed by my options in the used section, so I asked them to present me with the vehicle that would give me the most value for the dollar. I ended up accepting this vehicle after some extensive negotiating for an acceptable trade-in value on my existing vehicle that would be in line with what the initial invitation letter had presented. This new vehicle has been serving my needs and is in mostly good condition, except that the lip of the front bumper is cracked, and even still has duct tape holding it together. Exterior damage is one thing, but selling a vehicle with duct tape still on it at a large dealership seems particularly unprofessional to me. Since this deal was made towards the end of Friday, I was told by the finance manager I dealt with that the cheque for the remainder of my trade-in money would be ready on Monday or Tuesday the following week. I called the finance manager on Monday the 10th, left a voicemail, and when I did not receive a call back, I went to his office and was told the cheque would be ready the next day on Tuesday the 11th. I went to his office the next day, and not only was the finance manager not present, the cheque was still not ready, and the other staff in the building did not provide me an adequate answer as to why this was. On Wednesday, I once again did not receive an answer back to the voicemail I left at the building, so I went for the third time in a row to the finance manager's office. He was able to verify that he had made an error in ensuring that the cheque would be properly prepared at the time of the trade-in, and only then showed sufficient proactivity in ensuring that it would be prepared while I was present. I left the dealership about 45 minutes later with cheque in hand, after three days of traveling 25 minutes each way to get some kind of answer or activity from the staff. Despite being mostly happy with the trade-in deal, I am unhappy about the time and gas I had wasted due to inefficient service at the end of the deal.

My mother-in-law had come in to Mayfield Toyota to look for a new vehicle and the sales person (Bill) who helped us was very nice and upfront with things. We liked the service he gave us and his no pressure sales attitude. My mother-in-law liked the 2018 Yaris since it was the right size and features she was looking for. She signed the papers and put the deposit for the vehicle and was told it would be a few days to locate the vehicle. A few days past and she was later told that it would a take week since the person who manages the inventory is on vacation. We waited another week and then was told the vehicle is not found. At this point we asked for a loaner vehicle to drive since my mother-in-law needs a car for work. She was then told after the weekend that she cannot keep the loaner and that the car she ordered would take 3 months to come in. This was really disappointing to her as she was really excited for her new car. She was then told to pick another color and style. She was not happy with that but told them that could be an option. This has been frustrating to all of us since it has been a back an forth thing with the dealership. Also my wife and I were considering buying a Highlander from them but will be reconsidering going somewhere else.

User

I have noticed a decline in attention to detail in the service department. Most recently I had to return with a leaky fill plug after having transfer case service done on my Tacoma, I had to ask for my free included oil change (it had not been deducted) and while my truck has 65000 km, the invoice stated my next service was due at 271,000 km. Previous issues have included "forgetting" to replace spark plugs as requested, and ordering the wrong part for a warranty repair that resulted in me having to return on another day to the dealer. While the staff are friendly, these issues do not breed confidence that the work under the hood is being done properly. On their own, each of these issues is trivial...but together they paint a troubling trend. I will be taking my Tacoma elsewhere from now on.

User

I have had continual issues with service department over the 5 years of owning my car. This time I tried to inform them of problems and why I will not be returning and a very minimal, excuse filled response with no offer/solution on the large problem I had of them not doing work I specifically asked for, has been all I got back. Spoke to other service places to confirm where I was coming from was correct and got better offers from them to fix my problem then Mayfield. Have gotten zero reply from Manager that I was advised to contact.

It is 2 stars because Bill in sales has always been wonderful and gone above to help me in the past with issues that had nothing to do directly with him and because one service front desk person I spoke to was brilliant and tried to offer what she could to help me after getting such minimal help from initial complaint. I was going to list the multiple issues and so on but it is too much for a simple Facebook post from my phone.

I will not be returning for any serious work and will no longer be recommending this dealership to friends or family. Sadly being such a busy place I wonder if that is why the lack of care happens. What is one person when they are having thousands use them regularly.

Sales department and financing are absolutely trash. They took $5k deposit and then had me wait for 5 months for a 2018 sienna. They called to say vehicle would arrive between April 24-29. May 16 comes around and I heard nothing so I call them up and they say there is a note on my file that i decided to buy a Lexus from Kyle?!??? I told them that I have no idea who Kyle is or what they are talking about. So they told me that was weird and I said ya especially since if that’s true you never thought to give my deposit back. They had no answers for me and said i would have to wait another 4 months if I wanted the vehicle I ordered. They then ask me if I want to buy some other van they have on the lot lol. As if I special order a 2018 Sienna and wait 5 months so I can buy whatever trash they have lying around. So I had them refund my deposit will go buy elsewhere as I have no choice. So let me tell you my theory on what REALLY happened. Winter time they are slow so they send out flyers to previous buyers to upgrade their vehicle, but this sienna took so long that by time it arrives it’s spring and they realize they can make more $$$$ selling to a new buyer vs a trade in so they screw me over because they are sleazy slimy bottom feeder salesman. My wife wrote the manager to let then know our dissatisfaction and guess what? CRICKETS! I’ll never purchase another vehicle from these crooks that are either incompetent or intentionally deceive their customers. I welcome Mayfield Toyota to prove me wrong or be honest and explain themselves, but they haven’t bothered yet so that tells me that they couldn’t care less. I’m telling everyone I know about my horrible experience. Hopefully I save others from dealing with a similar nightmare :)

User

Probably one of the worst places I've been for customer service in their service department. First experience: I walk up to the service counter to say imthere for my appt and I'm told I'm not supposed to come in and I have to drive my car into the service bay. Ok. After that's done I'm instructed to stand beside my vehicle until I can get helped. Annoying. Then I'm told that even though I booked the shuttle service to/from home that they don't drive people to my location. It was in the notes and booked yet I was still told no, after complaining they forced the service attendant who booked it to drive me. The whole experience made me glad I don't own a Toyota and if I ever chose to buy one it definitely would not be at Mayfeild. I will also not bring my vehicle back.

User

Never had a great service here at mayfield toyota. They always book me to an appointment to get my problems solved that ends up me coming back three times to the dealership to solve one problem. Waste of time and money to even get a car here. Good sales men bad service. They wont even offer you any solution so I will not be recommending toyota mayfield to anyone anymore.

I’m telling everyone I know about my horrible experience. Hopefully I save others from dealing with a similar nightmare :)
