Mcdonald'S

They have pretty much upgraded every other McDonald's in yyc but just because homeless people who are still human beings! Sit mostly in this one they leave it as it is maybe upgrade this one and the staff will actually be happy to work here!

The staff was so preoccupied with homeless people they didn't even look at me. They gave me stale food that had been sitting there forever and the drink was basically colored water.

Update: Still the worst and slowest service in the city.

If you have a business in this part of town you need to have faster service.

The slowest McDonald's in the city I swear and of course in the sketchy part of town.

Nice cheerful atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Homeless dont come near here although as in any city downtown business after dark, shady creatures do lurk. Coffee is always fresh and fries always crispy.

This McDonalds gets packed very quickly and there is not enough room to even wait for your order. There are a lot of undesirables inside and outside the store. This location normally always gets orders on point in a decent amount of time though.

Even though this is right next to the crack Macs, they still serve proper food. Could be a bit cleaner.

With little money to spend I was looking forward to enjoying a fish fillet meal. We'll, the fish was reheated and the bun was stale. When I showed the manager she thought it was fine and wouldn't give me a fresh one.

Still the worst fast food place I've ever been to. Slow, unfriendly service. Food that sucks even by McDonald's standards. The opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the local street life. What's not to love?

That last point is important; they have no security at this outlet so people like to come in and beg from the paying patrons while they are trying to eat. Probably the main reason I take my order to go.

Avoid this if you can. There's a Subway next door. Get a sandwich instead and avoid this store.

Can be a little slow depends on who's working.
One manager likes to show the homeless his power over them, had to wait 5 full minutes while, he berated a guy for, trying to get a refill on a coffee, not purchased there. Made me miss my train and late for work that day.
Now when I see he's working​, I don't even go in, as everything is slow motion when he's there.
