Mcdonald'S

This has to be the scariest McDonald's I’ve ever been to. There are more homeless people here than in a homeless shelter. There are homeless people sleeping on the tables, smoking in and outside the building, standing all over the building, intimidating customers. The menu screen hanging above the counter is broken as well; looks like someone threw a bowling ball at it. This McDonald's has earned the nickname “The Lair” as it seems to be where all of Calgary’s homeless lurk at all hours of the day/night. Luckily my friends and I left before anything happened to us unlike other reviewers here. I never thought I would actually take the time to write a review on Google, let alone for a McDonald's but this place disgusted me so thoroughly that I just had to leave a review. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place.

This place is really gross. The staff do their best, you can tell but they cannot keep up. Orders are missed, the machines are always out of receipt paper, and there is a strong chance you will be accosted and pressured to purchase a lot more food than you intended.

If this was a Halloween themed McDonalds. 10/10. But it's 4 days past and a man in the back of this McDonalds threatened to stab us so we could leave him to sleep. So we told the manager to call the cops and he immediately went back there and told the man to leave which stabby Mc stabberson followed us out and threatened to stab us as we were walking away. Good thing he was all bark and no bite as we walked aways with no holes and a resentment against this manager which took it on himself to make a point to put us in danger. Thanks. We learned our lesson on talking to your employees. Just call the cops and stay not stabbed my friends.

Of the two downtown McDonald's I frequent, this is by far the best in service and quality. The staff are friendly even after dealing with unreasonable and rude patrons all night. I greatly appreciate the patience and dedication of the employees at this McDonald's.

This place is great to pick up food while you are on the go. You may not want to stay to eat as this place has a lot of homeless and shady people who hand around and inside the restaurant. This is definitely a place where you are picking up something for the road.

Not the best when it comes to its facilities. It's smallish and not that clean. It's good for a quick bite and the service was prompt and courteous.

Best managed McDonalds in Calgary. They always get my order right and very fast. I wish they had in the food court though.

Great staff, friendly and pleasant. Dining room is usually filthy, rarely a clean table.

Terrible, not only did they screw up my order, but they called me a thief when I tried to get my free refill. Not impressed at all.
