The worst Experience. I place my order, and when I pulled up to the window, not only did Iget ignored, buddy had the audicity to say "Its not my fault you drove up the second window" "I said, well, I was trying to pay, and I couldnt even get acknoweledged! Not a lil nod or SOMETHING to acknowledge I was there, or a signal! " He went on about teling me how I was given attitiude.! PFT!!!!! THEN.... they didnt give me my one burger and other order of fries! Trying to say that they gave me... "No you didnt!" UGH!!!! One of the worst experiences with Macdonalds... EVER!!!! They dont acknowledge you, blame you, get your order wrong! UGH!!!! Remind me t NEVER go to this location!

I feel like you need to hire people who can read. On a weekly basis I order my food and either it's made wrong, i'm given an entirely wrong sandwich or you forget items I've paid extra for. The increase in minimum wage should be accompanied by an increase in accuracy. horrible service at both locations on 17th ave sw. Should we also make our own food since you can't make the food we order ourselves on the screens. Bunch of imbeciles

If I could give half a star I would. By far one of the worst McDonald's in the city. I bet I could train spider monkies to do a better job. No wonder they're trying to replace mcdonalds workers with robots.

This is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been too in terms of food quality. I don’t mind the cleanliness etc.. it’s 17th. But they serve hours old burgers that havent even been heated, I’ve been to literally hundreds of McDonald’s and this one is without question the worst food I have ever been served. They need to stop serving hours old food.

Definitely one of the more colourful McDonald's in town. It's never empty, no matter what time of day/night you go. The decor is fantastic making you flashback to the days of yore when diners and drive-ins were all the rage!

Unfortunately with its location on such a busy strip, it attracts a number of patrons who will ask for spare change. The restrooms are locked and you will need to request and/or make a purchase from staff to grant you access.

Staff are generally adequate. They may not appear all too friendly but when providing service, they are quite pleasant. Even during busy times and dealing with angry customers, they remain poised and professional.

Oh and don't expect to park in their parking lot and head off elsewhere on the strip. They often patrol the parking lot marking tires and ticketing - especially on a weekend.

Weird decor, although some might enjoy it, also, weird vibe overall with the place and the people on it, wouldn't show up again. Food wise, same as any other Mc Donald's, except for the fact that they got my order wrong and acted as if it was my fault (ordered two of the same sandwich in the self service machine and received two different - one with and another without bacon - and they said the order was wrong from my side without checking it, although it was just the cheese bacon burger thing, so yeah...).

Good coffee ,,big breakfast is normal McDonalds,,pleasant waitress from Quebec, , unfortunately they have street people sitting inside , outside , around the area..other wise it would be a good place..

Workers are very nice and easy to deal with. Dining area was not very clean. Due to its location being close to a lot of Calgary's pubs and clubs you can encounter some nice or some strange people sometimes.

I am quite surprised that with the amount of non-respectable clients that this location attracts that they don't have any presence of security at all. Granted the staff are very apologetic of the atmosphere, they could do way better to provide great service to those customers that are not causing any problems. There was a disturbance in the drive through last time I was there and initially yelled at by one of the employees in the drive through for being upset about the way it was handled. I went straight inside and asked for a refund and got an apology out of the manager. I definitely do not recommend going here at all until this location improves their service and provides a safe place for everyone to enjoy. I know it is a lot to ask for a fast food joint in downtown Calgary, however of they became less tolerant of disturbances caused by some of the people that hang out here, this issue would slowly go away.
