The staff is absolutely AMAZING!!! This was my first visit, as soon as I walk into the door this gentleman points to me and says " I want to help you find the perfect glasses". Made me feel pretty welcomed that he is there to help me. I had the eye exam first and the Dr was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained everything to me quite easily. I was quite intrigued with all there new machines for eye exams that I never seen before at other places. After my exam I go over to the frame section and the Dr says she'll find someone to help me out. Then the gentleman I saw earlier comes out of his office and says " I will be helping this lady out". Doug was the gentleman that I was dealing with made this experience incredible. They bring glasses to you in which work with the shape of your face and your personality. I love how he asked questions to get to know you better and also what you're looking for. I found 2 pairs there which I love, these glasses are fashionable so price is a bit higher. I don't mind paying a bit more for such great and unbelievable service. They take the time to deal with you and understand what you want. I highly recommend coming here, they treat you like a person and not just another walk-in client.
The gift of sight: A Christmas Miracle!
Thank you to MDO Opticians for the gift of my new pair of glasses. When MDO says they care they really do. My husband has been laid off from a good paying job since 2015 December and only recently was able to get a PT job 3 days a week. It isn't much but we keep saying to each other that God will take care of everything. Today I had to go find a pair of glasses as my 9 year old ones were starting to fall apart and I couldn't see out of them anymore. I needed them badly. I had to find a job still and a new job would mean driving, I couldn't see well enough to drive at night with my glasses. I went and got my eyes checked and made my way over to the glasses side, when Kristy told me the cost I let her know we couldn't do that but that I had an old pair of glasses at home that could maybe work and if she could let me know how much the lenses alone would be. She found out the cost came back and let me know. It was something we could make work. I rushed back home to search for the pair of old glasses so I could get the new lenses. I arrived back at the store to be warmly greeted again. Doug was there calling over Kristy...they informed me that my old glasses would not be needed they had a Christmas gift for me....My new pair of glasses! I burst out crying. I had never came across such a caring eye place before. MDO Opticians gives back in big ways...I can't even say thank you enough for the generosity and caring shown to me today. I wanted to let all of you know how thankful I am for the gift of sight this Christmas. A forever thankful customer!

Snuck in on a cancellation for an eye exam today to get my prescription up dated and a new pair of glasses for everyday (I love my current pair but they are a little much when at work or in sweats!) The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming! Doctor Lauren is very sweet and professional. Doug helped me find my perfect new frames and the entire staff is just so lovely to deal with. I 100% recommend them!
Our experience was wonderful!!! Came in on a recommendation of a friend and will definitely be passing my positive experience on! All of the staff were very friendly and professional to our whole family. Big thank you to Doug and the team.
I’ve been a photographer for 11 years and only recently did I notice that I couldn’t focus properly and I had a headache all of the time. Dr. Lauren was awesome, and the service was perfect. I get comments on my glasses every single day- I thought I would hate needing them, but now I love my new look more than before!
I was recommended MDO after searching for my first pair glasses for months. Immediately after walking in I could tell the experience was much different then the other places I had been. Instead of searching the walls trying to figure out what would work for me I was greeted by the friendly staff and was helped right away. They sat me down and asked what I was looking for with styles, what I was trying to avoid and my budget. Within minutes I was trying on tons of frames hand selected by them based off of what I told them and within a half hour I had found the perfect pair. I would highly recommend this store to others.

The customer service is fabulous here! The staff are brilliant! I am looking forward to getting my new glasses and sunglasses.
Some might say this place is expensive but the peace of mind knowing that your vision is going to have the best possible sight and look fabulous at the same time is unbeatable.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my recent visit to MDO opticians. I met Doug, who amicably made some excellent frame recommendations. The eye exam was thoroughly and professionally conducted by Dr Zaiffdeen. She was friendly, knowledgeable and gladly attended my concerns. I was delighted to be assisted by this team. Thank you for the excellent customer service I have received.
I am so grateful for the kindness and compassion displayed by Doug at MDO opticians. My father passed away on Monday and two days later, my mom sat on her glasses. We went to MDO optics to see about getting her glasses replaced, but they were no longer warrantied. Doug was very kind and gracious to my mom and while he didn’t have the frames in stock, he called Tanna at the downtown Women With Vision location and arranged for my mom’s glasses to replaced free of charge. We so appreciate not only their professionalism, but the kindness they displayed during this difficult time. Thank you for your generosity.

Had a great experience here up until it was time to pay. Unfortunately the lady helping us only informed my son of the pricing. She never discussed the Black Friday sale excluded the glasses my son had chosen. Extremely disappointed with how it was handled.
**Update- Wow. The owner, Doug, contacted me right away. He went above and beyond to resolve any issues I had. Customer for life!!
Got great glasses plus was treated with kindness and had fun in the process!! Took our kids for exams and was amazed how great they were with toddlers and explaining to me how their eyes were adjusting as they grew!! Thank you!!
