Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association
About Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association
The Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association (MEGSA) represents the collective interests of the graduate students.
Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association Description
MEGSA is a departmental graduate association, having objectives:
• To promote and serve the intellectual, academic, cultural, social and recreational interests of the graduate students of the University of Calgary’s Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering,
• To officially represent the interests of the graduate students of the department, and
• To foster interaction between graduate students and the department.
MEGSA would like to encourage a larger mechanical engineering community where students can visit each other’s labs, collaborate on projects, foster interdisciplinary work, and develop a social support network for those tough exam weeks and stressful semesters. MEGSA would also like to organize social events where students can meet fellow students, learn about the different cultures and languages present within the department, and explore Calgary and the surrounding area.
