Ive been a customer at this location for 6 years. Havent had any major problems with the facility or staff. The weight room is fairly sizable and equipments is adequate. Although I recommend attending either early in the morning or early afternoon as the evenings get quite packed with people trying to squeeze after school workouts.

Well there was this moron racist customer they had that harassed my mom and the manager said there is nothing they can do about it... that was a horrible experience we had two years ago. Also they put their own staff closing time as the actual closing time of the gym which doesn't make sense because you would think you have one hour and go there but then they tell you no there is only half an hour left to use the gym. Overall the staff are not bad but I have to give them one star because of that bad experience.

We go here for the kids swimming lessons. They have a fantastic adjustable depth teach pool. This depth has been wonderful for the first unparented lessons for my 3 year old as it allows all the children to be engaged and working on the skill together (instead of sitting on the side taking turns with the instructor) - including retrieving a ring off the bottom.

Kids were there for swimming lessons. The instructors were good and better than other places we been. Pool and the changing room are also above average.

It is a very nice facility. It has a fairly big swimming pool. The changing rooms are nice and big.
It's usually very busy there depending on the time of day you go. Early in the morning is really the only time it's not crowded.

Honestly, I've trained at 3 other YMCAs in different cities in Canada, and this one is the worst I've ever been too. From staff that ignore you half the time, to extremely disrespectful teenagers using the weight room, to the most judged and looked down upon for the way I look at a gym. Not to mention the worlds worst creepers when working out. I'm talking interrupting me mid exercise. Also I had gear stolen from, could never get on machines no matter what time you come. Tried for 5 months to like it, and honestly will never come back.

Plenty of gym equipment, nice pool. Great place to work out, play a game of basketball, or go for a swim. Has fully equipped shower so you can rinse off the sweat after.

This YMCA needs to develop a respectful workplace policy. The swim staff are brutal and show zero respect towards kids and parents. I guess that's a result of zero competition here in the far North West. If it all possible, take you kids somewhere else.....Worst YMCA ever!

I purposely go either first thing (5:30), or 1pm, or right before close. I don't do well with crowds, gives me lots of anxiety, also is a battle for ellipticals or any cardio machines at peak times lol
It is concerning when a machine takes a month or longer to get fixed but other than that I love this facility. Very friendly staff :) I have been going here for about 20 years now
