Hocus Pocus is a magical little lady who came from a small colony of black cats🔮 💫 A rare eye condition called Entropion in which the eye lid turns inward causing irritation and pain has been discovered in a few of the cats. Hocus Pocus is a tween and still growing so her eye is being monitored and she will probably need a minor surgery when she is fully grown. Even though this little girl has not had much experience with us humans, she is accepting pets and is beginning to get used to being pampered. "Plumeria (now called May) is doing just great! She’s already come out of her shell quite a bit since moving in, and has made herself comfortable on every soft surface in my home, from the bed comforter to the bath mat. She likes best to sit beside me and lean against my leg whenever she can. I’ve had a few visitors come over to meet her, and while she’s a little shy when she first meets them (hiding under the futon) after she gets accustomed to their pres...ence, she likes to come out and be as friendly with them as she is with me: with lots of head buts and rolling around to get pats. She’s eaten everything I’ve put out for her, both dry and wet food, and without complaint! She’s been great about using the litter box and scratch post - I’ve honestly never met a more well-mannered cat.
I’m very happy to share my home with her, and it seems as though she’s very pleased to be here as well."

Abandoned when his family left without him, Bisbee wandered the neighbourhood crying in bewilderment and loneliness. Sidewinder was rescued with his two brown tabby brothers, Slinky and Springer. This loyal little trio stuck together after they were abandoned and were fortunate to find a kind person who fed them. Initially they were very frightened by their change in circumstance, but they are all settling in, beginning to trust and it is a delight to see them slowly relax and appreciate the finer things at MEOW. When it came time for my other half and I to start looking into adoption agencies for cats, we were aware of a lot of different foundations but we decided on Meow Foundation for our application to find our first cat for our new home. From the phone interview with Katrina to meeting her the next day and viewing her choices for us it was an exciting process. Originally we wanted a kitten but one of the choices was Creamsicle who was 5 years old and so loving when we met him. Well needless to say, a couple of hours after we left the Meow Foundation we knew Creamsicle was the right family member for us and we were very excited to submit an application on him. Katrina went up and over the volunteer role in many different areas. Creamsicle was officially ours. On December 17th, Creamsicle came home with us, he was shy to come out of his hiding spot for a few hours but when you checked on him he greeted you with purring, kisses and playfulness. He has been with us for 4 nights and it's as if he has been with us as a kitten. I could go on as a loving Mom would, lol. Choose Meow Foundation for your next family member, be open minded for all ages of cats and provide a precious loving home with a cat from here. Thank you Meow Foundation for everything. ❤️❤️❤️.

My husband and I adopted a kitten from your organization last November. We were looking for a little black cat but ended up falling in love with a black and white kitten that was named Mack. We renamed him Waylon. Just wanted to give you an update on Waylon. He is thriving! We needed a kitten outgoing enough to be around our very energetic dog and boy did we ever find one. Mabel and Waylon are best friends. They groom each other and when Mabel leaves for a walk, Waylon cries for her to come home. It's so sweet. Waylon loves to talk and purrs if you even look in his direction. We love him!.

I've adopted two kittens over five years and both experiences have been wonderful. From the initial application process, to picking our purrfect pet. We now have two happy cats.

I started volunteering at MEOW as a tribute to my old rescue cat Oscar who passed away and it turned out to be one of the best things I have ever done! Everybody who works here genuinely cares about cats and the work they do, every cat is treated great and a lot of care and thought goes into placing cats with their furever homes. Meow foundation is a glowing example of what a shelter should be!

I love the meow foundation, recently adopted and had an issue of acclimating our newly adopted ,, called their line as they recommend , got the best advise and our merkava is now so much part of us ,,,, they are the go to for adopting!!!! Completely supportive even after the adoption!

I love the MEOW Foundation so much. I fell in love with a sweet little face on a picture on their website and his story only made me sure he was the one for me. He was a black 6 year old boy named - at the time - Elminster. I filled out the application and spoke to the adoptions people, then went to meet him. I was so nervous they wouldn't think we fit, but my big bad handsome floofy man came home with me that day. I changed his name to Galen, he's decided that I am his person and can be trusted and I adore his quirks. Thank you MEOW so very much for sending me an angel with whiskers.

I love MEOW Foundation. We have two cats rescued by MEOW. Krista is 19 years old and Franz is 15 years old and I cannot imagine our family without these two fine furry feline members!

I got my cat from MEOW Foundation almost 8 years ago now. They were wonderful to deal with from start to finish, and very helpful in helping me find the right fit for my home. Thank you, MEOW!! :)

I adopted Maximus April 2015 and have never been happier! He is crazy, full of energy and is as handsome as ever. He had several appointments for people to meet him but they all kept backing out. He also sneezed a lot (turns out he has feline herpes) so maybe that deterred potential adopters. They truly missed out on the most amazing cat ever. I love my fluffy ginger baby more than anything! Thank you for rescuing him or else I would have never been blessed with this adorable fluff.
